I love playing her. I was wondering if anybody had good widow tips for aiming and stuff? I have about 42% average scoped accuracy and about 17% critical high accuracy with scope.
Recoil compensation off, as well as a 38 relative sens is helpful.
PS. you should almost literally NEVER be contesting point.

I would say don’t play her. That is the best thing you can do in comp.
That must be a joke right ? Widow is super strong in soloque once you are able to click reliably on heads.
I am 100% serious. I have never played a comp game where a widow player was even half way good. I have never seen a widow get gold kills in any game.
The point of Widow is getting picks, you don’t need all the shiny medals with her as long as you are able to get picks for your team to push.
I just don’t see it. I often play support and watch the kill counts and it just doesn’t happen. In all honestly I lose 80% of the games I play where someone plays widow. It goes to 100% when there is a Genji and a Widow. Not trash talking just literally how the game is. I don’t care about comp anymore it isn’t fun. Just saying if you want an honest suggestion it would be to not play Widow.
The funny thing is your team Widow is literally around the same sr as you.

If the widow is in the same sr as you, which mean she is capable enough to stay there. Otherwise those widows would be in the deepest of bronze if they always have 100% chance of losing.
I didn’t use any sr to dismiss people wtf. I don’t care if you’re bronze, silver, master, or gm. All I’m saying is that widow is in the same rank as you so they probably know how to play widow at that rank.
The problem is when you have those who played widow and refused to switch when they’re being counter. You can say the same for every heroes in that case, not just Widow.
It’s not about the hero, it’s about the players.

The players who chose to play Widow are often not playing to support the team. She is the hero who is most impacted by system and network and becomes useless in the smallest amount of lag. Anyone can play Widow and climb they just put more pressure out their teammates to make up the slack.
Not really, high ping doesn’t affect your aim that much when you’re on Widow.
High ping is more likely to affect your dodging ability, or reaction time, in that case, heroes like Tracer, Sombra, Genji tend to take the hit.

High ping 100% impact widow. If it can impact dodging it can impact someone trying to shoot someone in a scope. The fact remains that every other DPS is better than Widow. Every other DPS is a better pick for your team.
High ping can impact every heroes.
There are plenty of master/gm widow playing with over 100+ ping.
First you assumed the hero is bad
Second, you are now blaming widow on the potential that they “might have high ping”.
The only reason you say Widow is worst than every other dps is because you can’t play her yourself. It’s not other people’s problem.
No Widow is bad. I get it you like her. That is fine. You can play any character you want. Good or bad is opinion based. Just my experience in all game modes, not just comp, is that if you have a Widow on your team you will more than likely lose.
I feel bad for every widow that has to play with you. Literally losing every game
