hey blizzard. i pre-ordered overwatch and just found out that i should of gotten a code for the noire skin and i never received it. ive talked to GM Unneawhin, GM Draechsam and GM Drashabel, plus two microsoft employees trying to get the code for the skin but no one was able to get it. does anyone know if its possible for me to get the skin without having to buy it off and most likley be scammed by ebay?
The code should be found in specially marked packaging with Overwatch: Origins Edition. If you purchased digitally, you should have received an e-mail with the code. It sounds like you are playing on console so I am not even sure if you can claim that code on a console platform anymore. Its been over 2 and half years so I fear it is far too late for any support from Blizzard’s end.
The skin was pre-order only, that was not included with the Origin skins like Overgrown Bastion
I know it is pre-order only. I am just saying it is on specially marked packages of that version of Overwatch. There is a little sticker showing the Noire Widowmaker on the box.

EDIT: My case looks exactly like the one on the right, but the code was in the case. WutFace
Many stores like GameStop and Best Buy had excess quantities of the pre-order marked boxes at the time of launch. Also all Collector’s Editions of Overwatch has the code too. In fact I am in possession of two unused codes which I am saving for a special occasion.
It wasn’t a pre-order marked box. the case looked like the one on the right in the image above.

That is the pre-order box, it doesn’t matter if you pre-ordered it or not, but that is what the pre-order physical box looks like if you got it.
I know its weird, but the first wave of the Origins Edition had the code, regardless of pre-order.
i am a xbox player and i never received a email when i pre ordered it. i did buy it digitally which my friend also did but my friend got it but they bought it over 3 months after the game came out.
well, i play window in noire skin since day1… wouldnt mind if people could actually get it somehow
