Increase her scope in time by 20%. This will revert the crazy buffs she received on October 2016. I really feel like this would be a great balance change for the game since Widowmaker is extremely powerful and will only keep getting better as players get more experience with her. It’s not like this change will drag Widowmaker under to Bastion tier either, and her rifle will still feel smooth to use. Guess you’re not higher than 3k? Widowmaker is too good right now, I play a lot of hitscans on ladder and a lot of the times I’ll end up switching to Widow over Soldier, Ashe, or even McCree, who is my favorite to play, just because of how effective she is. Like I’m not a pro or anything but a lot of times it seems like Widow or lose lmao

Here’s the thing, bud, that you people don’t get. Widow is obviously going to be OP in the hands of OP players. But guess what? So is everyone else. Widow isn’t good in the hands of anyone, unlike some heroes. That fact alone makes her balanced.

Widow isn’t that hard to play though, the hardest part about Widow is winning the flanker matchup and especially the Spamzo matchup. It doesn’t take some god at the game to play Widowmaker anymore, everyone has gotten better at Widow all it usually takes is to win the sniper matchup and then it’s free shooting after that.

McCree and Ashe take good aim as well though. And aiming isn’t exactly difficult to do in this game either, I’m not saying Widowmaker is Moira or Brig levels of easy, of course not, but she’s very dominant compared to the other hitscans

Doesn’t make her OP or in need of a nerf. Considering how many counters she has that you people constantly ignore, from every shield hero in the game to Genji to flankers, she’s easily the most balanced hero in the game.

Genji though? It’s a matchup not a counter. Shields are counters, but there’s only so much to shields that can save people from Widowmaker.

Both Reaper and Torb have been or will be nerfed because they are too strong at the lower end of the game
They’re still very niche at the higher
So why isn’t that the same for Widowmaker? She’s warps the game beyond Diamond to “Who has the better Widowmaker” and not “Who plays as a better team”

Orisa is the biggest counter to Widow considering how quickly she gets her shield back. Her alone can make a Widow’s life hard.

That makes zero sense. An aim hero being bad in the hands of someone who couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn is not an indication of balance.
The game isn’t balanced around incompetence, nor should it be.
