Widowmaker help

Hello!

This has been going into my head for a while. I’ve been playing Widowmaker for a while and I really wanted to get better but… I can’t ? I don’t understand how people do it. I’m trying hard, so hard to land headshots but I just can’t and I don’t understand why. Everyone seems to find it easy but it’s a nightmare to me.

What the heck does it take to headshot people. I’m asking this and I’m not even kidding. I feel like the headshots are not working out. I’m not blaming anything, I just want some tips because it’s just ridiculous. I’m about to just give up, it’s driving me nuts because of just how bad I am at sniping in this game, considering I’m always a sniper in any FPS and I’m really really good. I just don’t get it. I tried the Ana bot training for a while back then and it didn’t help me.

Please help. This is driving me crazy. lol

Make sure you’ve got the scoped sens right. 38 relative sens is as close to 1:1 as we can get in Overwatch. The rest is down to crosshair placement and practice.

Ana bot training isn’t helpful as she has one of the weirdest hitboxes in the game. Do some widow HS only lobbies to practice instead, or grind out deathmatch to improve your aim.(That’s what I do at least, hope it was helpful.)

Well Deathmatch is a Genji fest so I guess I’ll just give up. If there’s one character that drives me mad, it’s the damn Genji. :rage: Really, I can’t get anywhere whenever there’s one. So… GG.

I’m not a pro widow or anything, but I’ve spent a few hours on her :no_mouth:.

Genji was the worst to come up against for me when I started playing her, I understand how annoying he can feel when playing her.

But to help, I will say your sensitive matters, I messed around alot with it when I first started playing her. Try to hit body shots first, then try making them head shots. Don’t rush the shots, try to learn tracking people when scoped.

I feel with widow the best is to make slow progress, then when you feel like youre doing well, you can start doing things like jump shots.

I don’t know if this will help, but I think if you really enjoying playing her you shouldn’t give up :blush:.

Play training with only Ana Bots. Set it to headshots only. trust me this is the only thing that will help you land those headshots, other than that you have to stop playing or you’ll get banned for playing Widowmaker, I know

I saw a pro practice in a widow only headshot only deathmatch setting. Maybe that helps
