Same issue here as well on PS4. Was playing Widowmaker and Hanzo in Overwatch Classic and there were no gun/hit marker sounds. It really threw me off cuz I couldn’t tell if I was hitting anything lol. I had Mauga guns go silent too.
Hello! I’m sorry this issue happened. If you are playing on PS4, please make sure you’ve installed the latest OW2 client build 132578. That should resolve this issue, but please let me know if you’re still experiencing it after updating to the latest client build.

Just got an update, all the sounds are back for me since installing, thank you (:

Its now happening on xbox on a larger scale where u hear nothing but yourself and then u teammates voices and character voices nothing else
