For a character who can do 300 dmg in 1 shot sure does has alot of fire rate.Also grapple hook is way to good for escaping or getting a free kill.And why does damage boost boost damage for snipers.
Hanzo is way to mobile for a sniper.and a free kill ability and can use sonic arrow as a free kill also a dash ability to dodge bullets.Since when were snipers ever like this.
Thats why sniper are broken as hell in this game lul, they can literally escape anything.
The snipers wouldn’t be much of a problem if they didn’t have such fantastic escape mobility, which completey destroys the downside of being a sniper in the first place.
How does grapple kill? It can also be super inconsistent based on map.
She is a sniper with more escspe-ability than any other Frontliner.
It barely is inconsistent, it is literally a point click ability, how can it not be consistent?
There are spots on maps where it doesn’t shoot anywhere near where your crosshair is.
Widow without grapple…
Imagine a monkey jumps on you he presses m1 your dead nothink you can do.
For the sake of devil’s advocate, imagine a Widow standing on a platform you can’t even get to and just taking potshots until you die.
Widow hanzo are in all my matches, and its nothing you can do about em.
As my friend said, his been playing snipers in all his other dps games. But OW is by far the easisest his been playing in it.
A sniper that can oneshot you at close range shouldn’t have a escape-ability.

It is honestly stupid how fast they can one shot the entire team. I’ve never seen a sniper shoot so fast and do so much damage with out insane recoil or something
More like no chat balance, since nobody in plat would ever suggest such changes.
They literally have no place in a game like this.
A Sniper’s weakness is a FPS is the recoil from every shot, no mobility and weak up close.
Widow, Hanzo and Ashe have none of that. They all have pinpoint accuracy no matter how fast you shoot, have high mobility (except Ashe is more subdued than the other two) and they’re still strong up-close which makes diving as a tank just plain idiotic to do (Widow has stupidly high-damaging smg rounds that shred even tanks in seconds, Hanzo has Lunge, Storm Arrow and his regular arrows are incredibly generous when it comes to headshots and Ashe can just spam unscoped rounds and Dynamite)
Widow’s weapon is the only sniper in the world that is also a machine gun.
I’m happy to read more often thread like this. It means that I’m not alone getting my experience ruined by sniperwatch.
The rare times I can play a QP without snipers is much more fun
