Did the damage drop off for widow maker make it to the live game? I took a small break from the game when that was announced, so I don’t know.

Yeah, but it’s almost impossible to find angles on the map where it makes a difference.

It did
But the angles are so limited on many maps that it actually does nothing.
The only map where it is the most prevalent is Junkenstein point A.

It did, but only touches like 4 points within the whole game, so pretty much a non-existing nerf.

My guess is that they put it in as a feature they have the option to use in the future (ie they could change the numbers so it made a material difference).
Yeah sadly, literally no one knows why its a thing lol. They should have given her 150 health instead of falloff.

Pretty much. Most maps in Overwatch are incredibly small, with a ton of choke points. Havana is one of the better designed payload maps (along with Eichenwald) that tend to focus less on chokespoints and more open-ended maps.
Heck, most chokes are barely five meters in width, let alone most capture points being barely larger than 20 meters.
