Okay so, yes widow’s entire identity and purpose is to snipe shes a sniper character. Why is widow so god awful? because of one shot. one shot is absolutely terrible for overwatch and widows design is just horrible. grapple is bad, venom mine is bad, the 1 enjoyable aspect of widow is click head. no one enjoys widow except for the widow. she can single handedly win and carry a game but sitting in the corner hardscoping a choke. now you may be thinking go dive dont peak dont walk in a straight line BUT then there is circuit, junkertown, havana, rialto, all of these maps she is ridiculously strong on. she just sits in the corner getting 1-4 picks a fight and instantly wins. she is extremely difficult to punish and gets stupid amounts of value by EXISTING. widow should be removed because her design sucks so bad theres nothing you can do to change her and make her viable. shes not engaging and she makes every single persons life hell. then add mercy to the equation she dmg boost your widow and your widow just quick scopes everyone from across the point AND the moment she gets touched boop press E and rez her. this character is moronic and just needs either an entire rework or removed. not a single person enjoys widow.

Yes, she has to be taken the one-shot-kill ability cos she’s unbalanced.
Every hero should have a 50% - 50% chance to win a 1 vs. 1, but that’s not for the Widow who can one shot you from miles away.
Especially in OW2 where is now only 5 vs. 5, if just kill one enemy while the teams is getting out of the spam, she turns the round in an unfair 5 vs, 4 with any risk to be punished whatsoever, especially now when they made Sombra almost harmless to play against.
Maybe not take the one shot away, but change her from being a hitscan to being a projectile hero. While that wouldn’t fix the issue, that would at least give players a chance to avoid getting hit.

really the aim assist involved is kinda ridiculous on widow, but i guess blizz had to give her some kinda power.
