One thing. A lot of you have never experienced high elo widowmaker and how cancerous, boring, unfun and game ruining she can be simply via existing.
It’s a shame because I can guarantee all the people defending widow would instantly switch up (apart from the hitscan/widow mains) after facing this version of her (aka the only version that matters since balance only matters in high elo).

Also ignores the Widow player usually isn’t a potato and will use her grapple to get LoS on you.
It’s the “fundamentally shift how every single person in the lobby has to play around her or you’re bad because that is completely fine for 1 hero to do” arguments for me.
Honestly she either needs a rework or a hard hp nerf to make her a glass cannon.
That certainly explains all the top 500 Widowmakers.

Not a Widowmaker problem. It’s a one less tank, 5v5, and maps weren’t designed with this hero in mind to deal with less barriers.
One hero is not the problem of OW 2. See 1.
She’s not even the scariest or most complained about thing.
This is where you have to pick your poison.
Do you want a sniper to be able to delete things?
Or
Do you want Supports to get a major stealth buff by benching Widow and we are back to complaining about:
nothing ever dies
Immortality abilities have to go
Why do Supports dominate.
Etc.
Nothing changes by addressing Widow.
One hero ain’t the problem.
She’s fun, hot, and makes sure things die.
It’s the same for any strong hero or player. Why do people insist on running to the devs to save them? Once they nerf Widow you people will instantly have a new hero to hate on.That crap is never-ending and I hope the devs stop giving in to you ingrates.
point is not to she aint tracer, widow dont got 4 mobility abilities like tracer does so i find it shi for widow tbh

She has more hp, a movement escape/reposition tool, venom mine to alert her to flankers, close range smg and a one shot at any range.

I didn’t play against any Widows when she had venom crits instead, so maybe that’s a good thing? Or…bad if she’s now in a lot of matches again.
