Shes almost unaffected on her best two maps being Havana and circuit.
Theres like 3-4 sightlines that widows usually hold that are longer than 53Ms. Widow at worst will be slightly worst on like illios ruins,colosseo and JT

her design in 5v5 will always be strong.

Even if it kills her, ashe is still a thing.
She would be as she should be… the oneshots should have high risk high reward…

The nerfs won’t affect her that much, specially in the lower ELO anyways.

She is literally unaffected on alot of her most populor sightlines
im wondering was looking at some twitter post of the green and red areas. like in that junker town area. it will effect me if i need a long range kill and i have to be fully charged to kill say an ana. if pharah far away then pharah got buffed somewhat since ill have to shoot more than once… like i already do as an average widow lol… the 20 shots 1 kill thing

Back of JT near the mini pack is where your really gonna feel the nerf tho. Pretty much every other sightline is the same tho
have you seen how bad the range nerf is? most widow spots are now useless and most dive tanks travel 30+m with their cds. widow is dead for almost EVERY rank for different reasons if you are plat or m or top500 but still dead.

I tested it.
The only sightlines I found where she was affected is back of JT,colosseo mid and illios ruins if ur standing on the temple. Pretty much everywhere else is fine

Good thing Widow dropoff is 40 meters, still has access to vertical spots so when tanks dive her, she can get away while maintaining a good distance.
She’ll be fine.

not everyone here is silver. widow cannot afford to fully charge the shot in high ranks. imagine ana standing 60m away and you know masters ana wont miss her shots on a standing widow. zen will just destroy her btw.

Press F 2x and you see the RED. That is the min damage now. The damage falloff start isnt a huge deal. It is where it ends that really nerfs her.
Theres like 3 sightlines where widow can even shoot beyond the red line. Its not gonna kill her

Even at minimum, that’s a good amount of range for a sniper.

its not like i ever hit a jump shot +50 meter headshot. wish i had more lol… cant do it now i guess
