I know it´s cartoon characters, but Widow (and Tracer) seems most off, if it´s come to body proportions. I can´t see that beying pretty.

Yep, classic Femme Fatale archetype that we were told on game launch to not worry about because look, they also made Zarya, surely they can’t be sexist…
Few years later, lawsuit comes out that shows they were harrassing women full time at Blizzard, makes me feel like my instincts on Widow’s original design weren’t wrong at all, actually.
- There’s nothing wrong with making beautiful female characters. The problem is when you only make pretty female characters of one type and put in long panning butt shots that are extremely overt in their sexual nature over and over again and then ALSO at the same time insist that you’re not doing that. You are doing that, it’s obvious, and we all see it.

Not really, developers can do whatever they like. Their game, their choice. If they want to make big butt girls, their game, their choice.
Adding everyone’s butt preferences is a solution, nevertheless one group is going to be favored more than others - the primary demographic - the people paying for your stuff. Why? Because it’s a business not a social service center.
Everyone is motivated for their own needs. Want big zooooom on man butts and held there for 20 seconds, or elephant butt zoom on really fat people? Whatever ur preferences are you’re unhappy with butt zooms on attractive women. Because let’s face it, if blizz were doing ultra butt zooms on your preferences the complaining would stop - there wouldn’t be an outcry of injustices, that’s what makes this discussion so ingenuine. It was always about individual preferences disguised behind manipulative tactics. While gamer bros are direct and upfront, other groups scheme and use sinister tactics trying to label bros as stinky alt-righters or crying man babies, when all we are after is our preferences. We’re not sending death threats or trying to hurt anyone, we are just very direct with our preferences and that makes us wahhwahh babies.
If haters were more upfront and genuine I think everyone would already have what they wanted, but haters want to engage in pointless endeavors like activism and other ridiculousness because they are afraid of being shamed for directly requesting their desires. In some ways these people feel so much shame, they are so detached from themselves they will continue to push an endless stream of hypocritical virtues, while acting satisfied and smug for every little skirmish that only took them 5 steps further away from what would actually bring them happiness - their fantasy come to life.
