She is running lobbies and no matter what you play you cant do anything about it. Tracer cant do anything since widow can just 1 tap body shot her. Like if your a widow player just play comp, shes damn near the same. Dont infest ow classic please and thank you.

Edit: I just donāt think complaints against Widow should count unless youāre physically not able to counter her. If you can swap and do something, but donāt, you donāt have the right to complain.

Gotta love how she turns every match sheās in into a Sniper vs. Sniper. Iām playing OW Classic to try the more unique heroes that have long lost these identities, not to base my gaming experience off of a drama queen that warps the entire lobby around her!

Has a game last night my team went 3 mercy 3 widow. We took point A Hollywood instantly. Enemy swapped to 4 tracer 1 zarya, and 1 something else. Full held us at point b haha.
4 tracers is crazy.

no doubt the strongest hero on this launch classic overwatch. i have been trying not to play her and try other heroes but there was like three games where it wasnt going well and im likeā¦ going widow. 2 of them i turned around completely and devastated the enemy team and 1 of them i made real close. she has crazy power
I think youāre right. Simply because I donāt wish to swap means that sheās a problem. If I got me and my mates to swap Winston, yeah. Yeah youāre right. We canāt really complain if we do nothing about itā¦

the annoying part is when they start stacking widows. but honestly thatās pretty much all heroes in that mode. cant wait for hero limitsā¦ damm not the first time Iāve said that.

Yeah obviously, she was broken back then and was one of the first things they nerfed. (The difference is that now people can actually aim)
To be honest that hasnāt changed much even today, a widow can still hold an entire lobby hostage just by existing.

I really do think this is the case. People feel entitled to hold their pick, but if your pick isnāt working, howās that widowās fault? No no, she should be nerfed because YOU donāt want to feel inconvenienced by swapping. Because thatās fair, right?

I definitely have some grudges against Widow as a Zen main, but I will see if removing no limit/future patches in the upcoming days will improve things

This is one of the big problems with the mode.
Back then people didnāt really know what they were doing, everyone was new, so Widow and Hanzo werenāt that huge of a problem.
Almost nobody is new now. We all know how to play. There are probably tens of thousands of cracked Widow and Hanzo players, and they are absolutely shredding in a version of the game where there is basically nothing to contest them in any meaningful way other than a mirror.
Iām seeing 15+/0 Widows and Hanzos almost every match in Classic and I guarantee you they have over 8k hours. Itās awful.

Donāt be mad at Widow for being overpowered.
Be mad at counters for being underpowered.
It is the direction Overwatch 2 should have taken.

I mean both are true.
Widow has remained overpowered because many of her counters have been nerfed or flat out removed.
Best example is Sym and Torb used to be able to let 200hp heroes survive her oneshot. Both heroes had those features removed instead of expanded.
Just duo queue with a Dankey Kang one trick and Widowmaker is totally fine and balanced. Itās true!

I havenāt had much of a problem with her except for when they go, like, you know, four plus Widows. I try to keep in mind the meme of no brain, only aim, Widow main, as that tends to be true for the most part.
From what Iāve experienced, widow mains tend to have a linear level of thinking. They have these specific areas they like to hold, and when you deny them those areas, they donāt know what to do, so they panic, and their aim goes to s**t.
