Eh in Widow’s defense she usually dies in less than half a second if she does touch the point. Unless some one else is REALLY close it wouldn’t do much of anything. I mean ignoring the objective is bad but lets face it the Widow already sucks if it got to that point.

Hey, my team is convinced that the .5 second stall is worth losing primary damage. It is all about the stall, baby!

I think a really funny comic idea would be the oposite. A widow who gets on the point, starts to love the feeling and goes all Rambo on people punching and shooting at point blank. To the point she won’t snipe any more or something.

Crazy widow is funny.

Yeah I gotta agree here. Myself, a “widow main”. That extra 0.5 Seconds you buy your team isn’t going to fix it. Trickling in is the sign of defeat too. I’ve never seen a team regroup and come in thanks to that generous Widow that tags that point. I’ve got 600+ hours on her, I’ve never touched a point and got a “you saved our game”. Or watched any other widow players that touched the point, in the 800lvls of gameplay. Where they go “OMG, the widow on the point, saved the game”. LOlz, doesn’t happen :slight_smile:

Now maybe if her venom mine (aka “The fart-gas paperweight” ) actually did something. Now THAT would be a game changer there. :wink:

Yeah… it always makes me cringe seeing plat-tier advice like the comic posted. There’s so much more to Overwatch than widely stated falsehoods like “must fight on point”.

I’ll add to the advice given and state that as any low survivability DPS you should focus on taking high ground / positioning yourself, then aiming your hardest to get a pick onto a support or low target. Concrete example: Hanamura Pt B defence. Go left out of spawn and take high ground.

Of course, if there is literally no time left for teammates to get to point then you probably should be swapping onto a stall hero instead.
