Widow every match

Now Widowmaker will be every match.
Expect disgusting games, boring gameplay of licking walls.
Now you have two options: pick Widow and counter an enemy Widow or suffer.
Honestly, I shoot pretty well on it, even better than on my main Cassidy (maybe because of lower mouse sensitivity), but damn, this gameplay is too boring for me.
And playing against Widowmaker also is very boring and annoying. I’m fine with Sombra, but after her rework, why didn’t they think about nerfing or reworking Widowmaker too? Which DPS characters can now effectively counter her?

Sombra is still around to deal with Widow.

Genji and Echo are good picks too if you know what you are doing.

Sombra is dead. The new nerfs pretty much removed her from the hero pool.

so you did not play the game and you just guess, that Widow is in every game without having the experience/proof that this is truley the case?

She is more awkward to play but far from dead. You will have to play around translocator stealth and not rely on 24/7 invisibility.

I already played 5* quick games and 1 competetive, in every game there was Widow
It makes sense that people will play more often for the character, whose main and strongest counterpick has been weakened, and mythical skin has also been released.
To be honest, I haven’t tried new Sombra yet, but I think that now it won’t be possible to humiliate and force an enemy Widow to force her to repick. This means that on certain maps, especially if she is hard pocketed, she will be very hard to reach because 5 seconds of invisibility for Sombra is very short.
Anyway, too little time has passed. Let’s see what comes of this.

Oh yes, widow mythic and no update to the anticheat? Even the cheaters might get grumpy about this one…

The translocator is soo damn loud you cant sneak up on a widow with a brain anymore.

You will have to do it the old the fashion way, using the translocator only to get around.

This season will be a hot mess. They nerfed sombra and also gave a mythic to widow without her having any nerf lately. Ofcourse she will thrive now.
