Hi i’ve just returned to Overwatch after a break and my game now has these black bars when i play at my screen native resolution (2560x1080) i’m pretty sure this didn’t happen before did they change something or is it a technical issue?.
Does your desktop resolution match your Overwatch resolution? And are you also matching the native resolution of the monitor?
Your video settings are likely set to 16:9 and not 21:9. There is a 21:9 setting, but at the cost of cropping off information on the top and bottom of the screens (as Frame of View does not increase beyond 103 for competitive reasons). See example below of comparing:
