Genuinely wondering how I am supposed to climb with my friends in wide queue when I’m getting such little amounts of points. On a 6 game win streak, in a lobby with at least one diamond, and it was an uphill battle and 'i’m rewarded with 6%… This never happened before wide queue (which the 15 minute queue times aren’t helping) and it’s so demoralizing to the point that i don’t even want to play with me friends who are still very close to me in rank. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but its really starting to suck.
Unfortunately they stated that the wider the queue the less rank progress rewarded. It’s to prevent boosting but as you said, it’s just discouraging any kind of group play especially with these ridiculous queue times.
I’ve been getting wide queue ranked progress while I’m queuing solo. Day before yesterday I was getting 19-21 for wins even without modifiers. Yesterday and today has been 12-14 progress on wins. My rank hasn’t changed, still solo… Restarting hasn’t helped (obviously). I HAVE queued with friends, and did get between 6-14 depending on modifiers. But when I’m solo I feel like that’s bugged out.
