Why is wide match a thing? If we aren’t allowed to go against or team up with players that are of similar tier and skill set, why is there ranked match in the first place?
First of all, que times are horribly long. I don’t want to wait 6+ minutes to que up as a position.
Second and most importantly. I’m constantly qued up with players who are absolutely horrendous. I used to diamond but I took a lil break from the game and now I’m at plat. But when I join a game, it’s always silver~ plat level. or bronze~plat. I don’t know why its never plat~master. I always have to put up with silver tanks for dps. I know they’re not purposely throwing but to me, they always seem to make the worst decisions starting from hero picks and positioning.
I actually have zero idea why wide match is a thing of consideration. If people want to play with friends who are high or low in tier, they should either go to quick play or open ranked.
