Not only is he an amazing tank player but he’s also super entertaining. Blizz really dropped the ball with him. He was one of the reasons I watched owl and world cup. Everyone else is just boring to watch.
Are you talking about from the live game? xQc has been known to directly violate the Blizzard Code of Conduct on multiple occasions in the past, most often due to Abusive Chat. From what I can tell on his social media, he is not suspended from Overwatch at this time.
Yeah sure, just like random people abusing & false reporting him in their ranked games.
Not to mention that owl always wants & will have drama about the players about someone they prob wont like. And will take bigger actions against them.
Wasn’t he banned from owl too?
Because he used an emote. Not even kidding.
Not to my knowledge, he has been suspended for a few games in the 2018 season for his behavior in the live game and inappropriate participation in Twitch during a OWL broadcast, but I think he can be resigned. He mutually parted ways from the Dallas Fuel and has not returned to OWL since.
Yeah I remember it was something dumb like that. Something about an emote with some black guy while malik happened to be commenting on something. It felt like they were just out to get him
You can read the official statement here:
Is it permanent this time?
Not to my knowledge, I believe he could be resigned by any team, pending league approval.
Remember he has served on Team Canada and Gladiators Legion contenders, chances are he would be not allowed to participate in either if he was blacklisted from the League itself.
Just as there is goodwill, there is such a thing as badwill. If XQC hadn’t proved himself to be distasteful, unprofessional and immature at every turn , they would have given him the benefit of the doubt.
He’s definitely… a spectacle.
while I don’t think he’s actually banned from participating, if I was running a supposedly family friendly and sportsmanlike tournament I would avoid people like him. He loses his temper easily and makes rash decisions, not the kind of person you want to be representing your “professional” league.
How so? He talks a lot of trash but that’s apart of any competitive thing. He’s never harassed anyone to my knowledge. And the worst thing he did was the comment about muma but it was obvious from the start he knew he messed up and muma accepted his apology right away. xQc seems like a nice guy behind all the stuff said about him
He had been banned and suspended a copious amount of times before joining the league, and had an history of false reporting players for their picks. And there are PLENTY of pro players that don’t speak trash or at the very least, do it in playful, tasteful manner. XQC isn’t one of them.
As for him seeming like a nice guy, that’s entirely subjective. As far as I’m concerned, he’s slightly above the Paul Brothers in term of likability, which is still pretty down low.
I mean OWL is boring to watch on its own, but i dont like to watch screamers/desk destroyers/ trash talkers to much. Last time i watched more of him was when he reported one player multiple times, and in those reports he… welp… imagine working on the managing reports end and you read “f… y…” in spam of reports from one person…
yeah that stuff was bad, but I don’t think it’s worth kicking him out of the league. I think most people would prefer him still playing in owl. idk it’s weird not seeing arguably one of the best tank players not in the best league lol
He was apart of the LA Gladiators Legion team (probably not the name of it) though Blizzard dropped the ball with contenders teams and I’m pretty sure it was disbanded or something.
Welp, im not most people, if you do something to be out then you are out. But he have views so knowing how stuff works they could try get him in to keep OWL alive at all…
Ugh… it reminded me of people posting about him leaving game… multiple times… it was boring that he was leaving overwatch every few months.
I agree with the homophobic one but for using an emote the caster even joked with to use when hes on stage was just awkward and ridiculous at the same time. But with how rapidly toxic he can be, i dont think OWL is for him.
He just spent a long session playing OW. Did something happen?
