Why was Mei disabled-

-for being able to get into unattended locations whilst Reaper, in the past, merely got a quick patch and wasn’t disabled?

I want to assume its because its game breaking but still…

It actually wasn’t her that it was happening to. She would wall herself into geometry… and then Kiriko would teleport TO her… and be outside the map, allowing contesting and killing people without any chance to get her back.

So of course instead of removing the actual problem… they removed Mei.

…I think they still removed the problem…

What if we start playtesting for all of the game breaking bugs and see how many characters we can disable in the game at once? It would interesting trying to see players trying to play the game with like around 10 heroes left.

can they remove wall and give her a dps skill

At this point, every hero will be disabled. First Torb and Bastion, now Mei.

…ok we’ll remove wall, what skill would you like her to have instead?

What if they made her left click freeze people? I think this would be a cool feature.

I figured there was something game breaking like this, but I didn’t want to assume right away. Thanks for clearing it up

Nice b8 m8

Her wall was bugged. You could cast it while standing on top of it and be able to walk through it.

A skill boost that makes her be able to move faster on ice and people in her AoE slow down. Even a snow ball that gets bigger the more she pushes it and explodes on impact

An ability that makes an ice path on the ground that mei can slide on to reposition quickly .

…oh yeah, that’s been a popular suggestion over the years! Kinda like a mini-Kiriko ult without the other buffs!

We can agree Season 1 is no longer legitimate. Far too much interference with the roster.

I’m not even sure if they patched Tracer and Sombra teleporting into the Paraiso payload yet :skull:

Apparently they can’t do changes quickly anymore. At all

The only way they now can make changes to heroes and things is if they release a new version of the game or in other words put a new patch out there. Besides that no updates will be ever coming as the platform and the game is built in a way that prevent all of that

three heroes
that’s three heroes that were removed from the game due to bugs
ha ha haa

going cross progression means having to go with sony’s moneygrabbing schemes. Each patch costs money to blizzard and crossprogression has a stupid sony tax (which is why so many games come without sony crossplay specifically).

so we’ll probably get 2 patches per season if lucky

That and the hotfix system right now is apparently under maintenance as they can’t do those either when they could easily do those in OW1
