There is literally a character in the film Kung Fu Hustle that looks almost identical to this character.
“[Yuen Qiu] as the Landlady of Pig Sty Alley. She is a master of the [Lama Pai] Lion’s Roar technique. She has a sonic scream that can pierce through anything.”
idk, it doesn’t seem like Blizz was being racist at all, just maybe actually not being extremely creative? as it appears she was almost identically ripped off from Kung Fu Hustle, a film made in Hong Kong by literal Chinese people,so…it shouldn’t be perceived as racist, just a bit lazy as far as character design goes.
edit: somebody already beat me to it earlier in the thread, even posted a picture of her. like, the resemblance is uncanny.
