I think it’s the temporary name you get when your original name gets banned or something

Those ppl have been reported for bad battletag so it is changed to that.

Before it was just “BT” followed by some number but now it is just “Player”

Lol my friend got his BT changed from LoganPaul to Player.

Do they get another name change? Or are they just stuck with player

Not sure but probably not considering everyone who bought the game receives 1 free name change anyway.

This would explain the high proportion of their being somewhat unpleasant to play with.
