Why TF did Hanzo get nerfed AGAIN?

The HP nerfs were supposed to affect the mobile heroes. Hanzo is not a mobile hero and Hanzo LITERALLY slows down while charging his arrows. The dude is struggling as it is and the HP is not the only reason why he’s struggling. Hanzo has to compete with hitscans on top of not being able to one shot them. Im so tired of hanzo getting nerf after nerf every single season. So nothing changed with this patch, sombra is still gonna delete hanzo, tracer is still gonna delete hanzo. Honestly the only hero Im glad didn’t get nerfed is genji because that hero is struggling too. Hanzo didn’t need another nerf considering he’s already at the bottom of the barrel. The balance team at blizzard sucks so bad, the least they could have done is give hanzo his wall climb nerf reverted.

Edit: I saw sombra got buffed too. Exactly what we needed on top of the hanzo nerf. Thanks blizzard, now hanzo is on the same boat as widow because sombra exist! Im so ready for marvel rivals at this point

They nerfed him because he got an indirect buff of being able to one shot more heroes due to the HP nerfs, that’s my guess at least.

I mean, they literally explained their reasoning:

Developer Comment: Hanzo doesn’t quite fit the category of being as highly mobile as the other heroes we’re moving to 225 HP, but like Widowmaker, has the potential long-range lethality merits, as he is now able to one-shot the 225 HP heroes. It’s also nice for the Hanzo mirror match to be more decisive as well.

Here is a wild idea. Stop caving to the grief of the minorities and just give his 250 crit shot back.

Because they have a bias towards hitscan heroes, can’t have him one hitting Ashe and Soldier 76 because apparently it’s OP and “unfair”.

They would absolutely need to nerf him if he was allowed to one shot the majority of the cast simply because they genuinely gave him logs during season 9. That helped him so much that he performed BETTER without the ability to one shot. That’s cuh-ray-z!

But yeah, I prefer when my snipers snipe.

They found a way to nerf junkrat…

that was a nerf. hazno benefited the least from hit changes and he is toooooo slow now to kill hitscans. they can ez double tap him before he even charge a second shot. and hitting a headshot and a bodyshot from 30-40m away before they kill you is super rare. hanzo could be way better if they kept his arrow size and one shot. and thats before 225hp. now he is just dead.

Exactly this! Give him the 250 headshot damage and then I’ll consider having 225hp as a good trade off.

Implying the majority of Overwatch players are Hanzo mains?

People keep saying this, but whenever we run 2 projectiles in my games and winning people immediately get on phara and force hitscans. Like make up your mind?

Hanzo can headshot.

Um… I dont know many people crying about headshots, But i do know that complaints about 1 shots have been around since OW1 launch, and its not just a small % of players a decent % of players dislike oneshots.

i get why they dont like one shots but a)widow is still here and b)hanzo is trash. he has not real abilities, not ult, almost no mobility in a game where half the cast can disappear or fly and he is slow shooting. 225hp for THIS HERO?

Could you imagine Soldier having 3x rockets on rapid fire, and saying that’s worthless?

you dont play hanzo do you?

Small % of non FPs crowd that have no idea what makes for a popular game🤷‍♂️

Do you think math stops working if it upsets you?

They do not like it coz it gives them no chance to use abilities that reduces skill gaps.
