I don’t play ranked often because I don’t like the try-hard aspect of it. Sometimes it’s nice but I mostly chill in qp
It feels like 80% of games end in someone flaming someone else or complaining about something. Like… if it’s that serious then shouldn’t you be in ranked???
Idk, just a small rant. It’s as if people have a tough time separating ranked from qp. I just wanna shoot some arrows and dig lmao. It’s not that big of a deal!
If you supposedly dont care, then why do you get mad over people rightly blaming you for “having fun” in qp (aka as throwing qp games)?
On one side nobody should be yelling at you like you just lost them the world series.
On the other maybe you hanzoing your hanzo out into space while the rest of your team is trying to progress the objective is a worth a few choice words.
Nobody wants A type McAlphaface on their case the whole game, but also having what equates to a throwing team member sucks.
If your issue merely boils down to chat “harshing your mellow” I suggest turning it off. Problem solved.

I have fun when I win, plain and simple. There isn’t any amount of white-knighting or false-platitudes that I’m going to get from you or anyone else that is ever going to convince me that losing is fun. There is no rule against trying to win. But there are penalties for leaving, penalties for gameplay sabotage…etc. I think the game’s rulebook supports what I"m saying.

Comp takes too long and QP still has a leaver penalty. It’s hypocritical to support open-throwing (i defiine throwing as not switching when you’re capable of doing it, or feeding/trickling constantly which basically sabotages your team’s chance to win) in any mode if the people who are trying to win are forbidden from leaving you to fend for yourself.

Some people play games for fun. Different preferences. So that’s why I say stay in the places more dedicated to your preferences. I don’t go in competitive and complain about people being too sweaty

you can “have fun” in other modes where people aren’t forced to just put up with it. Arcade is there…you can literally play that one like garbage and if i dont like it, i can leave and go find another lobby where my team isn’t doing that…see how that works?

I usually Throw or stop trying if my team is priority is fun over anything else. I have also more fun doing my own thing why would I peel? Get lost and have fun.
Its more fun kooperating but many don’t want to because its just qp omg why so try hard.
