Why shouldn't I buy the Invasion pack?

To me the pack is worth it, I’d like to see you try to change my mind.

I’m someone that primarily enjoys pvp, OW2 is my favourite FPS game and I’ll be playing it for the foreseeable future.

I want the game to do well and to succeed because it’s my favourite FPS and I also enjoy the characters and lore.

I mean if you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money to buy the whole campaign go for it.

You also get skins and tokens, it’s not too bad imo.

Kind of like a mini battle pass.

-they lied about PVE
-They’re overcharging for the pve and skins in general
-the balance is still bad
-the matchmaker is still bad
-they lied about the roadmap already, S5’s map is delayed
-everything about 2 is a literal downgrade
-you have weak morals

And for people who don’t care about skins or tokens they have to pay $15 for three missions because they’re not available outside the bundle. I’m not sure why you’re pretending to not understand that.

Then stop spending money on it.

Blizzard literally said “because the PVP is doing so well, we’re shutting down a lot of the PVE.” People seem to think when you spend money on a product, it encourages the execs to develop it more.

But the opposite is happening. Blizzard is stopping development when there’s already money. The only way to encourage the company to actually care about their IP is to stop spending on it.

I won’t point to the people that spends $$$ on an iPhone that basically does the same thing as every other smartphone nowadays. People just buy iPhone for the name.

Also, $15, and you get 1000 coins ($10), and a legendary Sojourn skin, eevn if you don’t like the skin, that 1000 coins you get can go to the next BP/cosmetic, so the PvE is $5, not that bad.

Nope. The PVE has not been given a value. It’s not available for purchase on its own.

Taken from the source:
You can get started on your mission to save the world with the Overwatch 2: Invasion Bundle for $15 USD. This bundle includes:

  • Permanent access to the Overwatch 2: Invasion Story Missions
  • 1,000 Overwatch Coins (equal to the Premium Battle Pass, $10 USD value)
  • A brand-new Sojourn Legendary skin ($19 USD value)
  • Permanent access to Sojourn as a playable hero for new players: unlocked upon completing Story Mission challenges.

Your money if you like it buy it.

Yep. Notice how they don’t specify how much the PVE missions are worth, unlike the coins and the Sojourn skin? That’s exactly what I’m referring to.

Nope. The minimum you can pay if you want the PVE is 15$. Because Blizzard is a jerk and is also running a sales campaign that is literally illegal in certain countries (forcing bundles on people to buy individual products.)

It’d be impossible to try to change the mind of a mindless consumer.

ow2 is just all around garbage and worse than the real Overwatch in every possible way. To say you enjoy it just means you’re one of those candy crush playing super-casuals in the biggest pool of average people, who are the target audience for this trash.

And to want the game do well and succeed… You’re late by a couple of years dude. A lot of people wanted Overwatch to succeed, and OW2 made sure it will never succeed.

Overwatch is dead.

Just can’t think of people playing OW2 JUST for the PvE, not playing PvP once, and also, not ONCE getting the BP (or less probable a OW2 shop skin) if they like the game, but hey, it’s a big world.

What people have fun is Subjective should not trash what other like.

Like some weirdo goes to someone who like something and yells at them …

Why would you think that somebody has to care about cosmetics in order to like the game?

Pretending not to understand what? I’m talking about how I feel about it and I love skins

Maybe they’ll get tired of their hero being the same as the common skin, bet probably there’s people that actually don’t give a cr4p for the cosmetics, and I mean not getting/buying ONE single thing. Maybe there’s people in this same thread that jumped in OW2 and to this day, haven’t paid for a single thing.
