i was at lvl 3, playing with 3 friends and such.
After a couple matches, we lose one, the other player (who wasn’t in the group) reports me and then i lose a whole endorsement lvl. [and this was QP btw]
so, why do reporting someone lowers their endorsement lvl?
You also lose endorsements naturally through decay if you don’t get enough endrosements.
Playing with friends cab cause fewer endorsements, since there are fewer players to endorse you.
problem is, i do solo q in other modes, such as ranked and arcade, i get endorsed sometimes and thats why i got to lvl 3
If you get reported your endorsement level goes down because you allegedly did something toxic and the endorsement level is supposed to reward players for being good team mates. Disclaimer: I used the word allegedly because I am not accusing you of doing so, just that the game may think so due to the report.
so thats why hmm, i mean, we tried our best in the match and didnt even touched the chat. but one of the supports (i dont even remember what they said) said something along the line of “tank diff” and “u didnt change, dumbas”

the endorsement system is supposed to show you how much other players enjoy having you on their team
when you get reported it shows that someone really didn’t enjoy having you on their team
For the record, you dont immediately lose an entire endorsement level from 1 report. More than likely your endorsement level just decayed. It decays with every game played and you need to maintain a certain rate of endorsements to maintain each level. If you play as a group, there are fewer people who can endorse you, and as a result you can’t maintain higher levels. I play pretty much exclusively as a stack of 4-5 and I’ve been endorsement level 1 for pretty much years because of it. (And to those who will inevitably quote me trying to say “It’s cause your toxic!!!” - no, I used to regularly maintain level 4 when I only duo’d with my friend).
The short version is: Endorsement levels are useless and you shouldn’t worry about them. The reward is basically nothing and they punish you for playing with friends.
