know whats also really hard to play around? winston, when youre a healer. theres no support hero that doesnt get domed by monkey, so at least theres an easy fix in the form of reaper.
Against a reaper? Maybe if the reaper is missing some of his WASD keys.

A completely unbiased reaper main. Youāll never get any valid tips about the matchup if you just disregard the main counters for your hero. Winston canāt fight reaper but he is given tools to play around him.

I try to be but i know that i favourate lucio, winston and tracer and hate brig with a passion

Thatās not true. In this context, I am not biased. Iām trying to explain to you that reaper is not nearly as hard a counter to Winston as people think he is, youāre the one who immediately wrote me off as biased because of the character I main.
okay fair enough he can be played around but with no coms and a comp that has a grand total of 46 hps thats hard
Youāre right, hence why reaper gets his reputation of being a winston slayer, he destroys him in lower ranks. But think about it this way, would you rather reaper counter Winston the way he does, where winston still has options that, with skill, let him play around reaper, or would you rather the matchup be like every other ācounterā in this game, where even selecting a character invalidates the others existence?
tracer v cree, lucio v flankers, cree v rein so i think most outside of moira and somewhat brig v flankers are skill matchups now
Right but mccree isnt meant to be a hard counter to tracer, and cree isnt meant to be a hard counter to rein.
Reaper is meant to hard counter Winston but Winston has options. Though i get what youāre saying, and I agree with it.
Thats one of the reason why people donāt play tanks. They gets easily countered while they canāt counter almost nothing
lucios aura gets cut off by bubble, his damage is blocked by bubble, his healing gets more than negated by winstons gun
brig, basically same as lucio. no chance.
mercy? wellā¦ you can run away. otherwise, your healing is completely negated. shes probably the least affected by winston but he still messes her up.
I really wish theyād get rid of Reaperās lifesteal, make him more aim dependent while also making him good at close~mid ranges
Winston is hard countered by reaper same for ball, hog is really good but also feeds, Dva is really good against reaper, DM shoot fly you can also chase and kill the low health escaping reaper.
Rein is also countered but a macho rein can handle reaper well, with swing strikes and pin.
good idea imo. cant imagine it would be too hard to simply reduce the spread, increase his falloff range, and reduce damage. not to an extreme extent, but just enough that he gains a few more meters of range. then he wouldnt need (as much) lifesteal, and he might be a bit more versatile without losing his uniqueness.
