Why play soldier when Bap is a better soldier?

Seriously this hero is insane, he needs damage nerfs.

He literally is just a stronger soldier.

I have no idea why Bap is allowed to just dominate the game with his insane self sustain and damage.

You should be rewarded for your aim but he’s literally a dps at this point.

Either nerf his damage and keep him a support or nerf his healing and move him to dps, honestly.

I literally don’t play this character ever. He’s so strong and OP

At the end of the game, I even went full DPS mode and just cleared thier team, I’m not even that good at the game.

So, yeah, he’s a better soldier lmao.

Well, you can’t really choose between those two heroes after you queue in RQ. :laughing: But they’re both OP.

Soldier being OP is not true at all, he’s “OP” if he remains uncontested, which is a team comp issue and not unique to Soldier at all in OW.

You must be talking about 1v1 because Soldier is still miles better at both sustained and burst damage.

Because if you play Baptiste like Soldier, you’ll quickly realize he does less damage than Soldier, and is no where as efficient at securing kills.

And then there’s the issue of not supporting your team properly, meaning they probably die and your team loses.

I’ll go do it right now, I’m a dps main and I’ll first time Bap in ranked and come back to you with results.

I’ll garauntee you I’ll get as much if not more dmg than my dps and a ton of heals.

No one judges how well someone plays by raw numbers. Soldier has more burst. He’ll secure kills a LOT easier.

Moira, the support perceived to be the weakest right now, can get very high damage and healing numbers as well.

Because you’re on DPS, the inferior role, and you can’t pick Bap.

I seriously hate role queue as DPS nowadays, when the going gets tough I just want to pick a support, their characters are actually impactful.

He’s objectively the best DPS in the game while being far from the most difficult. He’s just less OP than the support role, which is off the charts in OW2.

By the metric that he’s had the highest pickrate of all DPS in Overwatch at every single rank - bronze through GM - while maintaining one of the highest DPS winrates in the game, for several consecutive months.

As far as metrics go, this one’s pretty much the gold standard.

High pick rate doesn’t mean OP, League of legends has many champions with high pick rate that aren’t OP.
