I wonder why many people are so salty and angry when they lose to a team with Torbjorn?

They get even saltier if the torb is on your team and you lose.
People have a very strict sense of what heroes are good, and are very slow to adapt to changes.
At this point Torb can be buffed to 1v6, and people will still think he’s bad.

To be honest, they all get salty regardless what you play if they are losing. This is especially the case if they get steamroll.
because they all yell “shoot the turret!” and then proceed to ignore it and then think torbjorn is the problem.

Because for the longest time, Torb was essentially a joke character.
Because Torb is the easiest hero to play in the game.
Torb is a lot like Widowmaker. They are either of great value or no value. Such heroes always cause frustration.

Honestly, no clue. It’s not like Torbjörn is meta, or even all that good overall. Neither is Bastion, Symmetra, or Sombra but people hate losing with them on their team, and seem to hate losing to them even more. It’s broken logic.

nothing wrong with that, but its the case
most people play QP, and torb and sym are cancer in QP because there is minimal team coordination to deal with their turrets

same in comp anything below 3800 to be fair. No one really talks at all, maybe 1 in 7 games i’ve had people talk.
Unless it’s McCree or Soldier ult for some reason.

At least they still require you to be at the keyboard. With Torb, all you have to do is drop a turret and you’ve done your job.
We get it. You don’t like torb.
But at least be civil enough to not lie about how difficult he is to get value out of. His M1 does the same damage per shot as McCree, but fires 50% slower and is a projectile which makes it significantly more difficult to land. So if all you get out of him is his turret you’re not even getting a quarter of what he can do.
And if you’re this mad at just his turret, then torb isn’t the reason you’re salty.

Exactly. This is why I think his m1 should be buffed to do 150 dmg. At least Mei and Hanzo don’t have to worry about having every shot arc.
…unless hanzo didn’t charge it all the way but what would he do that for
