I play Overwatch for almost two years and the game is starting to get a bit monotonous. Not anything really new, just a few new heroes and maps, not even the events that came with innovations are innovating, they are always the same.
I think a system of daily challenges that would bring rewards would be a very good thing for the game, at least it would give me more reason to play.

Why doesnāt Blizz have daily quests or challenges?
Other games I play, really make we want to complete them, especially weekly or monthly ones.
This would be a really nice change of pace, instead of relying on wins all the time.

Yeah. you can just do your weeklies in 1 day and then you arenāt missing anything if you donāt log in.

Because theyāre an indie company and anything takes 1/2 years to be implemented.
Exactly! Several games have this and continue to be played many times because of it. I wonder when the blizzard will include this in overwatch ā¦ if one day include. Hearthstone himself has this, I do not see why not Overwatch.

New heroes, New maps, Events with new skins, and the Arcade is a āweeklyā challenge mode with rotating game modes.
Itās not perfect but itās not exaclty 100% repetitive
It is when you have 500h played.

Yeah, but thatās new content.
Were talking about the daily and weekly grind.
Something to play outside of content. The game itself.
This would make the actual OW game more engaging, rather than just waiting for something new to come up.

I guess Blizzard feels as though it does not need it to keep their playerbase.
Across the 3 accounts I have played on I have about 750 hours played lol. Itās like, 80% repetitive.
Events are still fun, New heroes and maps are still fun, the game at itās core is still fun though agreeably repetitive. I just donāt think itās too bad
I still like to play, but not like i used to. Itās the third year with Lucioball, I think I got tired.

but it depends on what types of challenges these would be.
If they were like āplay 3 games tankā or āget 5 boops as lucioā then Iām worried that could create a small problem:
people would be like āoh but I want the tank challenge doneā and youād have to solo heal 5 tanks or something

I thought about it too, but I think the challenges did not have to be the same for everyone, maybe it would prevent this.
Yeah, Iād love some motivation to do a specific tasks ingame.
Maybe some of the following
Win 2 games (easy)
Win 4 games (medium)
Win 8 games (difficult)
Play damage
Play support
Play tank
Get gold medal(s) on support
Get gold medal(s) on damage
Get gold medal(s) on tank
Just some ideas.
