There is seriously no point in blaming dps anymore. Those who still play dps are one tricks.
Tanks and supports however are dps players on a off role because queuetimes are too long.
Meaning there is just no way their SR is accurate.
They are doomed to underperform because they can’t play that role.
And yet people blame their dps instead of their brain dead dps supports or not moving main tank if the team gets rolled.

I actually played a quickplay game that made me feel bad for a guy. I mean it is quickplay so who cares but, he typed in chat how it took him 20 minutes to get a game before work.
Proceeds to pick widow, does mediocre widow things which isn’t going to cut it on king’s row defense. Widow has to pop off on defense to justify the pick to be honest, but again quickplay.
But a tank decided to afk and throw, later typing in chat that they will “get a game at 2 minutes at most” after all was said and done.
Some awful humans play this game I tell you.

Trust me if my tank doesn’t press W or my fellow support is healing less than 700 a minute… well there’s a reason I got banned for abusive chat

Depends on which hero.
You can play ground based lucio, do 12k/10 and will lose matches because you’re not doing your job as Lucio.
You can play Ana, do 7k/10 with offensive nades. You’ll win. I’ve seen Ana players who think healing is the way to win. Anti heal is way more effective than the overheal.
As for tanking, can’t deny that. Too many moronic tanks are playing these days. Charging in, jumping into entire team and crying for heals. Or best one: backlining as main tank.

I’ve been in groups with supports who say that Reaper’s self heal is too much for them to defend against… Guess which support ruins a Reaper when you’re paying attention…

Most Reapers move way too predictably lol. I love nading them after they use the wraith form. If not before that or sleeping to force it out. Best part: they’ll always tp/wraith into your team right before he ults 
I’ve seen so many people saying go Baptiste+Moira. As if that’ll do anything.

When I’m reaper I try NOT to TP or wraith before my Ult because it just screams that it’s about to happen. If the reaper is NOT trying to get a flank: Ult, it’s so obvious. I try to either jump from high ground or if I’m defending I’ll try to hide in a side room and just let the enemy team push past me and run out behind/side of them when they engage the rest of my team.
Half the time I’ll let my team bait out their support ults too if I can. If my team’s Zarya ult’s I give it a sec or resist the urge to death blossom into it if their supports can ult. Nothing feels better than letting a Zenyatta Ult when he gets stuck in graviton surge only to death blossom most of the team when they get out of graviton and the transcendence ends.
Sad story: you get 2 picks in Numbani. And your Orisa defends the bus.
Or best one: you got 2 picks and after you turn around, you see your Rein shielding against a Winston and dying slowly.
The funniest one I’ve seen: after I bladed, our Rein actually said: “Nice ult into shield.”

I feel like most people just qing tank to get the shorter que times. Feels so onesided if you’re going up against someone who actually mains that role and the other way around.

Not gonna lie, I’m still getting over the instinct to shield against a melee attack. I’m pretty good about not doing it but years of Elder Scrolls games have trained me to block melee and that’s a habit you gotta break. It’s bad when you see them jsut stand there with the shield up though. Like if you put the shield up by reflex you should immediately know that you did it by reflex and you need to stop.
I feel like, or at least hope, that given some time the spit SR will even out and become better. Might take more time, might take some tweaks. But a DPS main who is off tanking and not doing it well should sink in rank where they belong and then climb up when they start learning how to tank better. I just hope that it straightens out before enough people get mad enough to leave.
It’s well known that the split SR is really wonky right now and I think it’s going to take awhile for people to settle in their roles where they need to be.

That’s the thing tho Tank isn’t fun to play. I main DPS and my highest SR is on tank simply because I don’t screw up as my tank when I dps.
Does that make we wanna main tank instead of dps? Hell nah.

Had a game where a main tank playing winston. Fed into reaper all game. Team constantly trickled in but flamed me all game as one the dps. After I"C9 first point to get play of the game."
Silly me knowing rip tire will clear a payload before it reaches the door and I would of died on payload anyway.
Whole team trickles in one at a time letting them push payload for free. Entire game telling me and the other dps we suck. We didn’t stop the payload once but that’s the dps fault our team went in one at a time to die.

Tank isn’t “fun” huh. Is losing on DPS fun i wonder? There is a ton more to this game in the support/tank slots, dps inly players are inherently inept at the game. They just run and gun with a healer pocketing them and think they are popping off.
Newsflash, if you are DPS only and are sub diamond, you are not good. Try another game.
People are trying to win the game - winning and having a functional team comp is what makes this fun, this dps attitude is exactly why DPS get blamed. And they should, they ruined the game for 3 years because they wanted to main be a leet genji main.
