Why not a cheaper version of Watchpoint Pack for OW1 owners?

Since the game will be free, that includes the Legendary Pack as well. You are not buying the Legendary Pack, it’s like a free addition if you don’t have it or if you want to play Overwatch 1 now.

Yo but don’t you want that 6k mythic skin? >:3

I also bought Overwatch:Origins Edition (former original Deluxe name) back in 2016. I can’t even imagine those who Pre-ordered the original game with the whole package be this left out as well.

This is so bad for veteran players, but also for recent players.

Why not a cheaper version? Because corporate greed.

you know, after peeping the 8000000% MORE VALUE sticker i might have to cop it

Considering we get access to ow2 with it,
Could it be we will also pay for the pve?

Well forget it, they don’t care what we own

This term is worded in a very misleading way…
“Includes immediate Overwatch®: Legendary Edition & Access to the Overwatch® 2 Beta!”
So basically that means “Includes immediate Overwatch®: Legendary Edition… also in a non-immediate time period at some point in the future but definitely not immediate Access to the Overwatch® 2 Beta!”
[Disclaimer: We like money. We are not responsible for any false impression that you’d get into the beta right now to encourage you to buy it]

If only we could get clarification on how much 2000 virtual currency is worth to make it worth for older players…

In OW1, we would use 2000 gold as toilet paper.

Because they don’t care about their playerbase. Simple. There is literally nothing they have done in 2 years that shows this.

“Hey ‘founders’, here’s some skins that you can get for owning OW1. Oh BTW I know we left you without content for 2 years but anyone who buys the game a month after this announcement gets this ‘founders’ content”.

Blizzard: “Hey lets give those brand new players even more of an incentive to buy OW1 by creating a bundle that coincides with OW2 giving you skins and stuff, then slap OW1 in there which gives them the founders content”

Random employee: “Hey, should we give people who already own the game a discount on this. You know, our actual founders since we are giving the founders skins to any old person and they’ve stuck with us for 2 years without any content?”.

Blizzard: “You’re fired”

so i decided to get this on ps5 as i don’t own an xbox anymore yet i cant seem to download the first game what a waste of 40 bucks, plus on the store it still shows the price for me

Honestly, I’m not too fussed about it.

I bought Overwatch: Origins Edition in April 2016 for £36. Since then I’ve played 2528 hours, so about 1.42 pence per hour.

Even adding in another £35 that’s only 2.81 pence per hour.

In terms of entertainment value it has been phenomenal.

Definitely more of a bummer for people who’ve bought OW in the past few months though.

heck I’m an og i preordered it on xbox and i love the game and was more than happy to buy it on my ps5 as i want to play it again yet its not showing up and I don’t know if its sonys fault or blizzards

I bought it and then realized this like 5 minutes later. Hope there’s a way to get some money back. Really disgusting for them to do this after just putting Legendary Edition on sale for $5. They had to have known what they were doing.

Worst screensaver ever. I could’ve just typed “Overwatch 2 is not available for download” into the scrolling marquee for free.

“Why not a cheaper version of Watchpoint Pack for OW1 owners?”

Because.

They might change how the sales work considering lots of people have complained not being fair for the OW1 owners from a short span of time. OW1 owners should get some form of discount or fund.

I’d gladly pay $40 for the watchpoint pack if it included all future battle passes. I want a deluxe edition not a subscription
