Why no more maps like kings row?

pretty much since the release of overwatch kings row has been easily the most popular map, why is every new map widowland instead of kings row? i mean obviously i dont want them to copy kings row every single new map but at least take elements from kings row but since then no map has been loved as much as kings row

Because King’s row is a bad map. Long respawn distances after you lose the first point … Whose idea was that… Zzzz

Its kinda hard to believe that the same people who designed King’s Row are the same people who designed Horizon Lunar Colony…

I don’t get whats so good about Kings Row. It’s basically just one long hallway once you take the first point. It’s so simple. I mean it’s not bad but I don’t get why people are so obsessed with it.

It’s not just the map design. The overall feel of the map is amazing. Except the third point is terrible.

It’s not a control map so of course it’s bad. Also, it was THE titular goats map. GOATS ROW.

its like dorado i cant explain why i love it so much :stuck_out_tongue: but its such a great map for me along with junkertown and dorado imo

Exactly why. No need to worry about getting dinked from a widow across the pond, and it’s constant fight after fight.

So we’re also just going to ignore 2cp like Volskaya and Anubis not actually being the most long standing horribly balanced maps?

I don’t envy the teams who design maps when they keep introducing BS heroes like Ball to stall points, to be honest.

i try to ignore 2cp and hope when overwatch 2 comes around the devs also ignore 2cp and 2cp never find its way into overwatch 2 :stuck_out_tongue:

kings row is good becuase its dark, why are all the other maps so daytimey and bright. isnt this supposed to be a “scifi shooter”
