I’ll preface by saying I use controller, I actually prefer it. However, console Overwatch not having any M&KB support is kind of absurd.

It’s a standard, not an argument. I doubt it will be changed anytime soon considering how long it took just for aim assist to be turned back on in crossplay lobbies, something about console players being allowed to play the game well is outrageous to the development team. Here’s to hoping we see a change in 2023 friends!

I completely agree. I have a Xbox one x and just prefer console in general, however overwatch is my favorite game ever and I’d love to compete against pc players with a keyboard and mouse. It’s ridiculous that my Xbox is more powerful then most PCs yet I can’t just hook up a keyboard and mouse to play PC games??

PC players get to use controllers, that’s just dumb af. Consoles today are far more powerful than most PCs if they want to sell more consoles/games blizzard would allow kbm. Cod already does this on console, why can’t overwatch. That’s just a dumb opinion. I bought a console because I don’t like having to buy all the crap that comes with a PC. In this case all I’d need is a kbm

Exactly. Just separate the two lobbies, this would also allow PC players to use controllers in controller lobbies with aim assist instead of just letting them be horrible at the game

You people make no sense. Your complicit about having to play in pc lobbys when utilizing cross play…
But when console player uses pc input devices or if console was given native support its a massive problem…
It would certainly make me less likely to leave matches when i get matched with console players…

What’s wrong with adding player choice?Especially in this point in history when there are very few differences and more similarities between PC and console, the gap between platforms is hardly there anymore.
Halo was so difficult for me to be good at while it was a console exclusive, I would’ve killed to use KBM on Xbox back in the day growing up as a native PC player.

Exactly, I’m a top 500 Xbox player. I’d love to try and compete on PC but I’m not allowed to because blizzard blocks kbm from consoles? It makes no sense. It would help que times, and allow people like me to play in PC lobbies fairly without having to buy a PC

No what was considered cheating is ximming(using a keyboard and mouse while having the benefit of aim assist) this wouldn’t be a problem if blizzard just made kbm native. Plus there are already tons of cheaters on Pc so what exactly would change?
