But most of them are not that different from each other.
i loved her chinese new year ones! but yeah, a chunk of her skins are pretty meh… i think that’s because they don’t really bother to change much with her hair and face cosmetics (glasses, makeup, etc.). I also loved the beekeeper skin, but i thought it was incredibly dumb that they didn’t make her ammo (the blue liquidy stuff in her gun) honey. perfectly blew an opportunity there ;-;

Ew no Jiangshi is terrible. Ecopoint Mei is a good skin, however. Yeti hunter is okay, but the gun gets in the way A LOT.

it’s because her Modle size makes her need to wear a Barrel for most skin concepts it’s really unfortunate and the art team seems to be trying to give her something but most of the idea just aren’t quite there thankfully Chang’E and JiangShi are both good skins so there are a few
But what about the Chinese new year skins?
She’s not in the game to be played, so why does this matter?

Seriously though, I really like the ones we got. There was one misstep with the Christmas one, it should have been epic instead of legendary. The rest are very imaginative even though they need to keep her outline and weapon in theme.
I’m not a huge fan of the Ecopoint one since it looks so piecemeal but that’s kinda its point. I’d love to see a China themed one for summergames this year.

I really love her ecopoint skin.
Anyway, that skin on Winter Wonderland is so bad, It should be an epic and the devs should do another One. A real leggendary skin, It’s bad that the Hero based on Ice that loves the Winter and the snow have the worst skin of the event

I think a bunch of others are quite good too. But I really want an astronaut suit, PLZ, I think that would be so dope on her. A bomb disposal suit a la Hurt Locker style would be cool as well.

The ecopoint one is pretty good, and I actually used to not like bee keeper but I started using it. There are heroes with far worse skins than Mei (like Zarya, Doom, Moira, McCree etc.)

They don’t change the colour of the effects to avoid confusion.
For example, if we had Mei throwing golden ice as in honey, it would be easily mistaken with Moira’s healing spray.
Some heroes just get the short end of the stick when it comes to unique and out of character skins…take Pharah for example, literally every single skin she has is the same fullbody head to toe bulky military flying armor.
Meanwhile nearly everyone else has wildly unique and special/casual skins like beach skins, togas, bikinis, grillmasters, cricket (sport), lolita cats, 80s glam workout dance skins, topless dragons, and I’ve been begging for something like that for Pharah for a year and a half now, I am just hoping they are reading my pleas.
I agree though, Mei could use something exciting like the examples I gave. beekeeper and fireman just aren’t doing it for me
