Why do we get limits to avoid and block players the is no need make it unlimited at this rate i have to block an avoid 20 ppl daily due to sus on cheaters and Toxic Players at this rate your more likely to team up with a cheater and get perma-banned for playing cause if you leave 2min-48h ban. at the end of the day valve let you block as many ppl as you want you clearly have over 2 billion account and we block like 110 why should we unblock ppl just to add a new blocked person.
You’re not supposed to block every single person who slightly inconveniences you, that’s why.

True but giving more than 3 would be helpful in limiting toxicity in most cases. There’s a lot of times that where you get matched with the worst type of teammate that are legitimately throwing (going afk, jumping off map, walling off team as mei etc.) not just “I don’t think you’re doing good so you’re throwing”, or super toxic and won’t stop demeaning their team the whole game. And towards the start and end of season, you’ll run into a lot of them so you need the avoid option.
I agree it shouldn’t be “unlimited avoids” so you can be hyper selective of your teammates, but I do think that we need more than 3. Especially if you’re someone who plays a lot of hours. I think something between 5-10 would be helpful, but even then 10 is definitely on the heavier side.
I think what would help is (assuming they don’t already do it) if they automatically removed people from your avoid list if they get actioned against, creating something of a synergy with the reporting system and encouraging the usage of both. If you encounter them again and they haven’t changed their ways, report and avoid again.
Yea that’d be a nice feature to include but they’re so weird and inconsistent about the action they take on accounts. I think something like that paired with giving just a few more avoids would go a long way with the community and help to limit some of the true throwing or toxic matches

They had already shown it off in an older Dev commentary prior to even the 6v6 vs 5v5 stuff.
It’ll be 10 Slots total, however only 3 of those will be true avoids, the other 7 are taken as suggestions to not cause even longer queues on the extreme ends of skill spectrum.
Though they’ve become very quiet about this so who knows when and even if this’ll still become a thing…
