Why Kiriko Ult Only Have 1 Voice Line?

“Okay guys were going to let the Kitsune guide us!”

Please shut the hell up.

You see in OW1 they actually cared about recording two voice lines and the other one would be in the characters native language.

Now blizzard can’t be bothered so they made the most painfully generic hero they could.

The enemy Kiriko has a japanese voiceline when ulting

They all only have one voice line for ultimates. It makes it easy to identify. When they’re on the enemy team, some say it differently (usually in their native language) so you can tell it’s not your own team ulting, but not all of them are like that. For example, Junkrat has the same line no matter what team he’s on.

As someone else already said, enemy Kiriko says it in Japanese.

Which is exactly how Kiriko’s ult works…

Just like everyone else, your team hears it in English and the enemy team hears it in Japanese. The only difference is that for some reason Kiriko hears her own ult in English when she should also hear it in Japanese like other heroes hear their own ult in their native language.

For English-speakers there are two different lines. Friendly Sojourn says “It’s go time!” and enemy Sojourn says “This ends now!”

I have yet to hear it I might need to visit youtube look at a video because I still hear “let the kitsun AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE guide you”

Yeah I don’t get this “complaint”

Kiriko is no different than any other hero in the fact that they all only have a single ult line, with a few exceptions for some legendary skins.

Speaking of ult lines, you know what SHOULD be complained about, but isn’t? The fact that Bastion’s friendly ult line, and enemy ult line, are the same! Why?

Or if they are different, they’re too similar to each other to tell if it is your Bastion or the enemy one.

You will hear it every time there is an enemy Kiriko.

She says Kitsune no kagidzume o tokihanate!

Or 狐の鉤爪を解き放て! if you will.

Now I just gotta wait till someone picks her plays her and lives long enough to ult or I could go to youtube look at a video and see if I hear it. Regardless of it or not I do not like this K/DA character.

Riot needs to do better wait… this is Blizzard oh dear lord.

Not true… Mercy hears hers in English also… While enemy mercy says it in swiss-german.

Normies like you are the reason why we cant have fun things. You get triggered by this but not by Dvas cringe? Give me a break…

You think I can tolerate D.Va? The girl who says every gamer cringe known to man? “GAME ON~!” “IS THIS EZ MODE” “HA HA GG” dude I wanna die everytime I hear her open her mouth don’t assume anything.

I’ll take anyone else over D.Va she was a mistake also I thought I’d edit this part in if you need a break have a KitKat buddy.

I actually was sitting here trying to remember if that was the case but it’s been a while since I’ve played Mercy.

Overwatch needs a girl band. With individual social media profiles.

OH MY~! Crazy part Blizz would probably do it and I can already see the members Tracer, Kiriko, Cringe I mean D.Va and from there… who knows Mercy? I do know for a fact that Cringe Incarnate I mean D.Va would be apart no cap.

you always hear your own/your teams ult lines in english while the enemies is in their native language. it’s the easiest way to tell if it’s a friendly or enemy ult

i think only junkrat has an actual voiceline that you can’t distinguish (not counting bastion since it’s not words lol)
I could be wrong on that but I always remember playing junk and hearing the ult and going ‘that’s not mine!’ to teammates since it didn’t have a different line for enemy/friendly

yeah it does.

Enemy: Fire in the hole!
Friendly: Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!
