3rd party mouse and keyboard with aim assist is objectively cheating.
Why Blizz allows it? Hard to detect is a joke.
Its very easy to detect and on top of that they are hundrets of youtube videos where players flex how they cheat and annihilate, why they are not banned?
Either allow native mnk for console or ban every XIM, there is two options. The approach they have now is horrendous.

I play on PC but I bought one of those M&K to play on console sometimes and I’ve tried a couple, some of the “best” of the market and… surprise! They are terrible.
The amount of lag they introduce during the conversion from k&m to controller is huge, it’s like a 500ms delay, worse than playing with any controller even if I’m bad with a controller. I searched on YouTube and apparently everyone says the same.

Because Sony and Microsoft believe XIM is fine. Unless Sony and Microsoft crack down on it there’s pretty much nothing Blizz can do.
Because people still insist on using controllers. Enable proper mouse support, and all those XiM users will get banned for illegal third-party hardware.
Even if you allow native MKB on console, you would still need a xim detection and banning system in the controller pool. Xim works by tricking the console into thinking you’re on a controller. There would still be ximmers cheating in controller pools, so you’d need a detection algorithm anyway.
Because no one at blizzard or high ranked console players (many are xim) care enough to try and get it banned.
It doesn’t hurt their gameplay that much and they’ve been playing with ximmers for 6 years so at this point its normal for them.
Sony and microsoft don’t consider it cheating.
Also it is hard to detect, R6 mouse trap is being patched along with new detection protection on the new Xim.
Can’t ban Xim. It’s a 3rd party controller.
You want Xim banned, that up to the console manufacturer.
Its actually pretty hard to ban from a technical perspective.
Sony and microsoft allow those controllers on their console and blizzard hasnt found a way to ban them from the game.
that might sound silly but its true, games like fortnite have tried and failed to ban them in the past too
