How is it fair that a Tank character can get 1 tapped? ( Doom, Junkerqueen and Ramattra)
Maybe increase these 3 Tanks hp to 325/350 in open queue so a Widow doesn’t just 1 tap them?

They don’t care about open queue balance. They just threw those horrible changes in and forgot about them, as if a universal 150 HP nerf to tanks ever made any sense.

It’s not fair that any hero gets one tapped on this game ever, for any reason.

Mercy Pocketed Widow disagrees.
Doomfist has 300 hp in OQ.
Widow headshot does 300 damage.

JQ, Doomfist and Ram’(out of Nemesis Form obviously)get 1-tapped by a non-pocketed Widow. Zarya gets 1-tapped if Widow is pocketed or Zarya is Discorded; all this assuming we’re talking about OQ, which we are. I think under the right circumstances even Sigma can get 1-tapped — Mercy pocket + Zen discord.
We can also get even more technical and take Zen’s right-click as an ability - therefore an 1-shot - so it’s another character that on paper, can 1-tap any single tank.

Ok but who even cares about OQ? You’re literally asking to play an unbalanced gamemode… If you want semi-balance, role queue is there.

As soon as they announced the change to OQ, i knew it was gonna be broken because of widow.
add power beam and discord and tanks are useless.
Really the main problem was buffing tanks in the first place “to make up for the missing 6th player”

It’s fair in open because you can pick an entire roster to counter Widow all day.
That’s on you and your team for not abusing the counter pick mechanic that is for full advantage in open.

Uhhh, widow headshot definitely does 300 damage. One of the strongest nonability attacks in the game. I believe 2nd next to Hog’s alt fire which can do 330.

Because hitscan one-tricks complained about not being allowed to dominate in a mode not designed for them

Uh, it does though?
People were constantly triple-stacking Tanks, and with their normal health plus two supports they had way too much sustain to the point where if you also didn’t go the same composition, you were asking to lose, it was a worse version of GOATs.
It’s not a perfect solution, honestly I would’ve taken limiting the Tank role to 2 only over the nerf change, but before that change it was horrible to try and deal with a composition like that.
