Iceblocking on the point to stall… Or anything that makes you invulnerable to stall on point.
Because Mei is basically an “Offtank” in OW2.
And that’s the main value she provides.
the same could be said about picking ball to contest
Ball is not invulnerable…
Solo-blocking to stall is a pretty desperate strategy. If it causes you to lose the round, you wouldn’t/shouldn’t have won anyways.
He is when I play him.
Because if you lose a game because of it, it’s deserved
Geoff strated down that road with Sombra and Reaper, and grapple out of spawn, but failed to finish it.
What’s more strange is how it’s inconstant, Zen’s ult doesn’t let him contest while immortal. I get that his lasts longer then the other imo abilities on average, but there have been points where the point gets capped because the Zen in question doesn’t know that and pops his ult to survive solo on the point.
He definitely contested before, and I don’t remember it being changed
He definitely still does contest
Using ult to stall the payload is like the only thing half of my trancendences end up being useful for
Yea, got it wrong. He contests, but cant push or add capture % to an objective.
“Zenyatta cannot capture objectives while casting Transcendence. He can still contest them, however.”
I’ve seen it where in overtime if the Zen hadn’t popped ult while solo the objective would have been capped, but they delayed the capture enough thinking the game was won and just popping ult for funsies long enough for the enemy to get back.
highest healthpool tank with mobility and booping, he lasts significantly longer than mei with armour for damage reduction and the ability to get from resapwn to point in less than 3s id say hes a bigger issue than mei
And no crit spot for a majority of his backline pressure
literally this, the main reason he doesnt die is because you cant crit him, on avg you shoot pebbles at him, his head hitbox is so small despite the size and healthpool he has, unlike hog whose head is apparently the only hitbox he has
I think its fine, just like Bob can stall too.
