Just a reminder to the dev team that this hero still exists.
Because they sheâd just be a better version of Reaper with a ton of utility.
That said, +50shieldhealth would probably be the easiest buff.

Theyâll never give her meaningful buffs as long as she has turrets.
Because if you buff her too much she becomes an unstoppable microwave that melts anything as soon as it passes through chokes. It gets obnoxious sometimes (esp on Lijiang/Nepal)

Symmetra has to be treated very carefully.
That means one buff every 4 months (or some change that nobody notices like incrasing Primary damage or decreasing TP cooldown) to make sure she is better than Bastion.
Canât wait for her next rework. Hopefully, she is at least allowed to be more fun again like 2.0.
Because she is good, got utility and damage. Her winrate, her autoaim turrets, and her viability shown by some players on the highest ranks is what is holding her back becoming something else.
In my opinion, Symm never left the Defence category. She is good at certain places but not everywhere. This is acutally the issue with many heroes. Like Junkrat, or Pharah, good at certain places, but play them on Rialto or Havana, and you will be blown away by AsheMercy.
Imo, they should have utilized her fully as a support with healing. That would have worked in best for her.
Because they donât want to buff her. Itâs plain and simple. If they wanted to they could.

Auto-Aim Turrets that slow you
An Ult that literally covers the entire map in a Shield
If you make her damage good, then she just has too much.
Utility Dps are a failure, just make her a Support.
This is a good question that you should ask yourself.
Why is it so difficult to buff sym?
The same applies for Bastion, Junkrat, Brigitte, etc.
Who is asking for dmg buffs?
I think theyâre just afraid of buffing other parts of Symâs kit because of the potential strength her teleporter has in coordinated plays.
I still think if they just buffed out some of that wonky âsit and waitâ feeling some parts of her kit has, sheâd be better.

You say you donât want damage, but what do you want then?
If they buff her tp sheâll still just be used for tp gimmicks, if at all.
More survivability, fixing all tp/turret bugs and shorten the tp deployment time.
Or just simply revert all these absurd nerfs she received during double shield meta.
I donât remember what they did as it was about a year ago at this point but they buffed her in a way that actually put her on the map. All I remember from it was how miserable it was to play against her. It wasnât enough to make her meta of course but it was enough that a lot of players from about gold and up took note and started to pick her up way more often. I could probably look through the patch notes for what it was but me lazy.
In summary, sheâs power crept Mei levels of annoying when she is somewhat viable.
What other kind of buffs would be given to her?

You cant buff her Ult
You cant buff her Orbs
The only thing left is to throw 250hp on her which doesnt fix any of her core issues in the first place
First of all you can buff anything and everything and you can nerf anything and everything similarly to put the hero in a healthy spot. Even if you make a single turret do 200dps itâs irrelevant as long as the hero is a throw pick and nobody uses her.

You can easily buff TP and fix like 10 bugs it has while youâre on it. Itâs Symmetras main utility and the cornerstone of her 3.0 rework. It should be strong.
You can. You can even undo the bogus nerfs they gave it or if you donât want to, you can get rid of itâs deployment time so it can be used to block key things more consistently.
You can because even with 140 damage orbs she was still not used so what difference did it make? If you donât buff orbs damage directly you can buff them in different ways like getting rid of charge time and instead give it a slow fire rate to match the charge up time which can alter her survival potential if somebody jumps her.
You can also trim her hitbox or change her effective range so that her squishiness isnât as big of an issue.
Zen is more vulnerable than Lucio or Brig but both of them die far more on average than zen because their effective range doesnât allow them to be as far from engagements as him.
You can also redistribute her power to switch things up. Beam melting people at 180 dps is a big threat to most of you for some reason. You could lower it to a max of 170 or 160 if you upped the lvl 1 beam which again increases her chance of surviving an engagement while lowering her lethality when surviving.
But none of these are even tried. She has been getting nerfs ever since the 2/2/2 RQ beta. Symmetra was already the reverse of power creep when they started toning down powercreep and she ended up with a triple nerf in that patch.
After 3 reworks they probably know she exists.
Theyâre just done with her.
This is the biggest reason. Teleport is also mighty powerful.
But sheâs still being built and balanced as a âSupportâ character. Where most of what she does is for the team and rarely for herself. The anti-thesis of a good DPS. It doesnât help that this game is all about heavy movement and her Sentries lack the setup speed, durability, and range to keep up.
tbh thereâs a few things they can do. It just depends on what they want to do with her Sentries and Ultimate. As it stands now, they donât help her.
