Why is this okay?
WHY is this okay Blizzard! This is your character on your own LEAGUE YOU ESTABLISHED! that is getting kicked in the face. This is a representation of you your policies and your image as a company you let them do this.
You promote harassment towards mercy’s players or better yet anyone who can’t play your poster children Genji and Tracer. You have completely rejected the player base you WANTED to invite to the table, people who never picked up an FPS before. People with disabilities and or never played PC PFS’s before could pick up this game and still bring something to the table to enjoy themselves. When you ignore the community, Rework characters that were made for these people ( Sym, torb, Mercy, I’ll get to tanks in a moment) you honestly took away there whole reason for buying your game.

Let’s release a hero with stun. Oh everyone’s upset. How about another hero with stun? Oh everyone’s upset again, let’s release a hero that immobilizes you AND has area denial. Oh no one likes this, let’s rework a hero to have area denial also. Why the tunnel vision Blizzard? What is your obsession with making tank players just sit there unable to play the game?
This is just one of many but again I will get to the tanks in a moment. I’m a DPS main, but funny story Overwatch was the very first REAL PC shooter I felt good in, the only other game I played was TF2 and even in that I was bad due to lag and me not being good but picking up overwatch finally on sale I picked up reaper and fell in love with his playstyle I played nothing but him for a long time. once I got into comp I got murdered for a full year before I got good ^^; I’ve climbed out of below 500 twice.
I got overwatch during the the first year of the game, when we still had mass rez and honestly I didn’t mine it, even in comp mostly because I tried to target the healer from the onset, and if mercy got the big rez well I felt that was my fault or the teams fault for not making her a target. I never once felt it needed to changed. its what made mercy Mercy.
But in light of all of this I wasn’t active on the forums really in my early days however theirs a lot of “something” I was seeing.

DPS mains complaining about not getting healed when they never try to protect there healer.

The they cried and cried and cried here on the forums because the game that was meant for everyone not just FPS junkies wasn’t fun for them. So after that the tweaks started to come in and thus the fun was slowly getting taken away.
IF anything what the League is doing to mercy mains should be happening to DPS mains they were the biggest whiners since the game launched. This is madness you say mercy or other supports take no skill to play AND YET BEG TO BE HEALED DURING THE FIGHT! These children ruined the game and these are the ones blizzard listened to, and then some genius at Blizzard said.
" Hey lets make our own E-sport the Overwatch league!"
and they got the spot light even more turning the game further and further away from the people who liked it from the beginning.
Now Tanks um you know its funny none of the tanks really got any kind of buffs or reworks except roadhog to a large degree. D.va I believe the missiles were a awesome edition but they didn’t need to nerf the damage they could increased the damage done to tanks to soldier and reaper to counter act D.va’s buff simple.
The DM didn’t need to be changed personally I’d want a longer DM back you can just make the cool down longer I guess, and you could force her to use it so its on cooldown its not hard > >.
Also Reinhart why is nothing but a ragdoll now in games stun, frozen kicked knocked, blasted into the air team rocket style and killed because the team is scattered. I want to play tank ^^ says no one
Make us work around changes that would make the game more interesting. Instead of turning everyone into a mixed bag where every game could be something crazy and fun you make every hero terrible.
But especially for Tanks and Supports, playing these heroes is not fun for anyone and even when your having to pick one of them its like your offering to the be the teams B$#%# unless your team is truly there for you , all you do is die and feed its not FUN OR REWARDING.
There is so many other problems I could get into like Bastion needs a more focused spread and head shot damage back. And torb is probably going to be the next Brig when he goes live.
Again Blizzard in conclusion, you support toxicity that you yourself breed by letting the OWL and your own people that work with YOUR name on the line get away with this stuff, you see the cries for mercy to be fixed but your more interested in making $40 skins that honestly people will forget about in a weeks time, you took away a game you gave to people that they loved and adored, you ignore and lie through your teeth to people who might not be able to play your poster children DPS. at the same time taking away what they can play.
You made your money and I guess thats all that matters at the end of the day, well if thats the case you failed even at that! turning away your customers and encouraging harassment. If I’m wrong then stop this childish behavior and BE RESPONSIBLE Have some dignity Activison Blizzard.
