i mean god forbid we actually get a tiny bit of lore for the junkers or junkrat, lets just put in a garbage clown skin for the archives event and that is all the junker lore you will get(which is zero lore)

Personally I think its funny how everyone is expecting lore related skins only, as if Blizz thinks about that, if anything, this skin probably got made more than a year ago and is being thrown into the pool now because they lack resources.

Honestly, I feel they swap events around a lot. There are some skins that would blatantly for another event and leaked content a year ahead of time. These probably were just thrown in this event.

There are other heroes waiting in the line still while he is getting featured almost in every event.

Not for every event, just Archives in general. It’s because it is strictly a lore based event and more than 90% of the skins we receive this event are lore based, hence why people are confused on whether Junkrat’s epic skin (along with Hammond’s) is “canon” or not.

You need to consider that perhaps certain heroes have very little outfits from their backstory, so they’re adding in some random skins to the mix.

We already know he’s clownish.
I feel like Junkrat has the most lore based epic’s though. Jailbird (he’s a criminal after all), construction worker (normie au), and the explosion one (because he’s a wild and dirty guy)
Jesters and clowns are different believe it or not, Jesters are members of royal courts while clowns are circus performers
yeah, he got the prison skin which can be canon so it makes it even harder come up with more past skins.
