Things were going so well so close to the end on retribution expert with no incapacitated players (I want the clean getaway achievement) only for me to get incapacitated then things went downhill
It’s basically asking you to play near perfectly, better than some pros even. I mean, a group of 4 passed Legendary, but literally their McCree, Genji, And Reaper went down, leading to the longest and most dangerous game of cat and mouse between Moira and a Heavy Assault I’ve ever seen
If you take your time, and not rush in every 2 seconds, it’s very possible to do.
Uprising didn’t have such harsh requirements all you need to do is beat uprising on expert
In retribution you don’t even have a tank
Find a group of people that know what they are doing.
Don’t get too close to enforcers.
Don’t get in sight of snipers. Let genji/mccree deal with them.
Keep track of where assassins are. You need to stun her as soon as she gets on the ground, or when someone gets pinned.
Take your time with heavies, eventually not many grunts will spawn when they are around. Keep your distance an pick him off slowly by peeking corners of buildings.
Ok also just melee the assassin it does the job
(That’s all I had to add)
i tried so hard and finally finished it with me having 0 incapacitations, but i didn’t realize the WHOLE TEAM has to have 0. WTF
0 Incapacitations is just HARD without a tank of sorts. Damage just flies in from everywhere. It’s pretty smooth up until the HEAVY.
People dunno how to deal with heavies unless they’ve played for a WHILE…add on top of that the fact that he spews out a ton of damage. Sprinkle in some footsoldiers and VOILA! You got something that’ll always kill my streak. I either lose the record at the first or last heavy. (GOD, I HATE LOSING TO THE LAST FREAKING HEAVY MAN! SO DUCKING CLOSE!)
It’s one of those things you gotta find a group and REALLY do drills with em. That’s how I got Junkenstein’s Expert/no damage doors.
On the brightside: My aim with McCree is once again godlike.
The only chance I stand at getting this achievement is if blizzard makes “you” the only one who has to not get incapacitated
So I don’t get toxic at my team.
If I fail at getting the achievement it should be my fault not my teams fault
its literally been 3 days. give yourself some time to perfect a strategy
But it’s the entire team who has to avoid getting incapacitated
I can’t get it if I have to rely on my team to not get incapacitated
I really wish it would just be my fault if I can’t get it so I can’t be toxic about it
Adding onto this:
- Meleeing an assassin will knock her off someone
- Genji’s dash will act as a stun if she’s charging for you (dash away before she knocks you down)
- Reaper’s Wraith (and possibly Moira’s Fade) will make the assassin stop and just stand there
This is the part i invite myself to help you, But sadly i suck at the event.
I have a basic strategy. Obviously best with a team of people with comms. It’s gotten me as far as the last Heavy so we just need practice.
Genji should do his best to kill snipers and not to dive in all alone into side rooms without Moira. He shouldn’t hop too much if he needs heals since the bots all have perfect aimbot and you’re only making it harder on Moira.
McCree should save his stuns for specials and enforcers. Smart use of peek and shoot cover will keep you alive. Ult when you give Moira a heads up so you don’t die while charging damage.
Reaper should focus on killing the normal guys first. Remember you can cancel your wraith form early now for a faster reload, but at risk of losing your disengage.
As Moira you should only use heal orbs. Throw them preemptively in anticipation of your teammates getting damaged. As Moira it’s your job to command you team to stick close to you. Ult when Reaper or Genji ult to help keep them alive.
As all hero’s, use cover to your advantage. Let the enemies come to you. In all areas there should be rooms you can drag enemies to.
For snipers Gengi should deflect her shots, and McCree can take potshots or sneak up on the first sniper. For Assassins, retreat to areas with only one of two paths so it’s easier to see her charging. Everyone except Moira should melee the person who gets tackled. Melee knocks her off right away. Either that or Flashbang works well.
For Enforcers use long range. Reaper will almost always be outdamaged by them.
For first Heavy use the buildings as cover when he shoots. Don’t dragonblade him since his melees can nearly kill Genjis. If he is not focused on McCree a fully charged Deadeye can chunk half of his health.
For the last encounter with multiple waves immediately go to the balcony above the entrance to the area. There is a room that you can hide in with one stair further down the balcony and one in the hallway. Enemies will go up both stairs but this room is great for Moira to use her heal orbs in. For the Heavy when he walks up the stairs jump down, and when he jumps down walk back up the stairs.
I failed my attempts but with practice I can see this working easily.
Some ppl dun even melee her. i was playin normal mode and had suffer the full duration by an assassin while being healed. i could have just get off computer and take a toilet break to come back on still stunned by the assassin. (i m the 1 who melee her the majority of the time if wasnt pick by her)
