Why is Storm Arrow allowed to exist when McCree's fan got nerfed?

Blizzards double standards are at it again

who even uses fan really

Well i think thats kinda the point. Nobody uses it because it serves no purpose other than bursting tanks down. If youre good enough headshots do more damage quicker anyway so theres no point to using it. People call McCrees that use fan to secure a kill a “noob” or say “nice rightclick” yet storm arrows are literally the exact same but can be used for more situations. But people dont ever call hanzos noobs for using them in a duel. Its not just blizzard that favors hanzo.

You’re right, people just call Hanzo skilless in general, whether or not he’s using storm arrows.

i always call spamzos noobs for needing storm arrow

To be fair, Hanzo can’t stun you while you take Storm Arrow right in the face.

Though McCree at least had spread and falloff, so he actually needed to be close if he wanted to melt a tank.

I have over 30 hours on hanzo on just this account and i never hear this.

Any time I 1v1 a hanzo as hanzo and they storm arrow me I shake my head in disgust.

Wait, you’ve never had people say stuff like:

“Lol, nice job using storm arrows when you miss your regular arrow and know you can’t aim”

Or

“Wow, lucky headshot. I would’ve killed your skilless *** if you didn’t play spamzo”

Or

“I love how even bad players are good Hanzos after his rework. Pfft”

Ive had “lucky headshot” but nobodys called me skillless for it.

Blizzard implemented Storm Arrow specfifically to reward brainless spamming (“increase consistency”).

Can’t hit anything? Have 6 shots to spray around and if you get 2 lucky hits or 1 headshot, you got a kill. Here’s your participation trophy.

Huh, everyone criticizes his “log-sized” critbox when firing his arrows when I see a Hanzo.

On the other hand, I’ve never see a Hanzo get praised, either.

Pretty much sums it up. Or the best yet: “im reporting u for using op hero”.

Hanzo can do tickle damage and someone will still be up in arms over him.

People that don’t play McCree well like me

I’ve seen many Hanzos worth praising and a lot, getting multiple kills without even touching his skills. The problem is that people can spam to a point where the actual good Hanzos get overshadowed by the Spamzos. (Also it doesn’t help that a skill that is already powerful in unskilled hands becomes a weapon of mass massacre in skilled hands lol)

i picked hanzo and i hit many headshots with his storm arrow but it was completely random i just spammed that thing around lol and guess what in about 15 seconds i had 75% ult charge HAHAhahaha totally balanced

The answer is simple. Because Blizzard always over-buffs or over-nerfs a hero.

What? A Hanzo headshot deals 250 damage, how is that tickle? It one shots more than half the heroes.

Im pretty sure this is still very relevant
