I agree, Rein can keep his movement buff and other buffs but 50% steadfast needs to go.
Mei is fine. She is still meta because her and McCree are the only dps who can peel Rein. Even with the new changes she will still be needed if Rein isn’t fixed.
The result will be Bliz leaves Rein alone and completely breaks Mei.

The reason why Sombra mains agree that picking a Sombra feels like a disadvantage is because of 3 reasons:
She requires more coordination than her DPS counterparts.
Maps are becoming very important. If a map has highground, Sombra is Queen. If not, she struggles. She can’t be run everywhere all the time.
Hacking tanks is less forgiving. The recent armor buff indirectly nerfed Sombra’s damage on Tanks. Before, it was a death sentence for tanks now they have a better chance to fend off against her which is good.
These are the main reasons but not the only reasons. Sombra’s kit is fundamentally powerfull, being able to take someones abilities away for 5 seconds is big. You can pretty much chalk up the cause of her winrate to lack of coordination. Lower ranks lack it, so they prefer easy consistent solutions: DPS with lots of damage, Healers with lots of heals, Tanks with lots of protection. Hmm, kinda sound like deathball? Crazy how that works.
And why do we assume these Sombra mains are always playing perfectly (I’m a Sombra main btw).
Who did you hack? Did you time it right? Are you in voice? Are you comming your hacks?
Can your team realistically follow up on your hack? Do they have heroes that constantly zone you? Is Sombra at an advantage here? Are you just playing her on this disadvantaged map because you just like her? Did you eff up your attempt at getting a pick?
Put Sombra on a map with good highground, a coordinated team, on attack, with mobile tanks, and she works beautifully. I’ve been finding success with her QP and Ranked. Am I some Sombra god or do people just need to adjust and stop crying for buffs?
I don’t know any sombra mains who want her to be a support that sounds like a horrible idea. We have loads of healers and more coming sombra is a interesting dps taking away her unique kit for healing abilities would do nothing for the game or the hero.
Agreed, her kit is more geared for the assassin archetype rather than the Support class.

Sombras biggest issue is that she relies so much on her team in a game where teamwork is an accident 50% of the time.
One tricking a hero and you expect for her to work all the time? I play Genji as well, I love him and his playstyle. But when I run him into Brig McCree Moira and a Monkey I’m not gonna complain if he doesn’t work.

Exactly, I think your exaggerating a bit at the end but I agree. I wouldn’t be opposed to some minor MINOR power distribution to the solo orientated parts of her.

everyone swore up and down that it was hanzo that was making other dps bad, now hes in the same state he was pre rework statistically, and still nothing is usable but burst.

She is going to need massive changes for people to be ok with her. Nothing short of a full blown rework will save her.
Just my opinion, i know it’s not a popular one. Although we actually have the fewest supports out of all categories, I still think it’s pretty rude just to say it’s a horrible idea. I really do love her kit how it is, but in 2-2-2 she’s not really having a blast and the stats proove it. They need to do something with her idc what.

Shes has a 53%+ Winrate on Overbuff in GM across all platforms. Does overbuff not matter now conveniently?
