Why is sigma disabled in the role lock ranked beta?

He was enabled in ptr ranked role queue testing… what is the purpose of having him disabled for the beta on live?

What?? I’m confused… I just watched a youtube video of it and sigma was disabled in it…

I’ve had him in my role queue placements.

He was not supposed to be in rank yet…

But again such a kind of mess up are common in August. (guessing new hires)

New heroes are never immediately available. He should??? be live come sept 1

I’m literally sitting in a room with, and watching somebody play as Sigma in comp as I type this.

I know this… but this is an exception. An oddity. We haven’t had such a drastic shift in how ranked functions since the start of ranked… him being enabled on ptr for ranked but not on the live beta seems incredibly strange.

Though, people here have said this isn’t the case? I’m so confused. How could there be a video of role queue beta that has him disabled but these people played him in the role queue beta???

A glitch?

Well this isn’t technically a comp season so… there’s no real reason why they should lock him out, since they’re already testing the new system and changes.

Dunno, Im not touching the beta so I couldn’t tell you for a fact. As for it being an exception I don’t really think it is or should be. :woman_shrugging:

Well I disagree. It’s a beta. It’s not legitimate ranked, just testing. What is the purpose in him being ‘disabled’ (doubting it now) in the beta but enabled in what was effectively the same thing on ptr?

But isn’t it not really an “exception” because no new hero has been released during a beta since the game launched?

because the ptr was a bunker fiesta and they actually want people to beta test role lock instead of playing a game that isn’t trash
