Why is Reinhardt not mentioned as being OP?

  • In every meta
  • Can one-shot dps and support characters
  • AoE Crowd Control Ultimate
  • Giant Shield which is essentially mandatory it’s so op
  • Auto Attack does not require aim and does massive (75) damage in an area.
  • Shield piercing Ranged attack that does massive aoe damage (100).

Why doesn’t anyone ever mention the somewhat obvious fact that Rein is kinda OP?

Can you list his weaknesses too, maybe they are why he isn’t considered OP?

-Incredibly dependent on team to succeed
-Only ranged damage is a slow projectile on cooldown
-Only movement ability is more dangerous to use than not most of the time
-Vulnerable to enemy ranged damage
-High ground control is rough

Winston is so much better in so many situations. Not trying to rank shame but people who think Rein is the only answer are generally low rank and don’t know how to make quick/fast engagements with dive. You don’t NEED a frontal barrier to win.

Because he’s not.
Also not in every meta too  Since when Rein was in DIVE lmao
He has the largest hitbox in the game and easiest to kill when out of position.

So, Winston doesn’t exist or something? Even Orisa was the MT choice during the end of double sniper meta.

Rarely gets anything with it and completely displaces himself, while also leaving his team completely in the open.

It’s certainly a strong Ultimate, but there’s obviously counterplay to it.

That’s literally his gimmick.

At the cost of only being melee range. He’s a tank; it’s his job to create and maintain space. Part of that is by discouraging the enemy squishies from getting too close to him.

If you get hit by it and you’re not playing Rein or Orisa, you deserve to take 100 damage.

He was picked more then winston in dive so yea

this is where you know it’s a troll. there was no rein d.va dive meta, sorry.

Last time he was meta was during the old triple tank meta, which was around season 3.

His one shot is extremely unreliable and more often than not results in someone on the Rein’s team dying.

His ult can be dodged and blocked.

Giant shield that goes down pretty quickly

His attacks have a relatively short range

His ranged attack is telegraphed and easy to dodge.
