It’s funny because (assuming there’s nothing wrong with it, ancient technology and whatnot) a 750 should still be able to run OW, considering it’s much more powerful than what the original XBone has and that decrepit thing still runs OW.

i have a 3070ti mobile but i cannot run this game at my laptops native res (1600p) without dlss unless i want sub 30 frames
altho to be fair i have all settings on ultra, but its still a bit ridiculous
no way a gtx 750 can run OW2 at a decent resolution unless you totally sacrifice every form of settings quality, his computer is running on hopes and prayers

Just so you guys know, as this is true of most Blizzard games, Blizzard games tend to be more CPU intensive than most so that might be your limiting factor.

The game is becoming less and less optimized with every new map, hero and special effect added to the game. It’s not even about GPU, the game is insanely CPU hungry and goes to 100% usage for many for no reason at all. Failed optimization and rushed patches.
The game is actually way too CPU heavy.
It would run on a potato if Blizzard has stopped abusing the use of vfx. Not to mention being a mess to look at.

its all the cc guys, a person cant run without being bhooped, trapped , gripped , stunned, slowed, hacked, a drill monster trying to see your bowels, two hook pullers in jq and hog.
The world isnt what it used to be,
it was a simple time when only mei could freeze cree culd flash and brig could bash.
its not easy to run in 2024
its that new kid who like all the transparency effects in vfx team

Seems like the most words you can read before losing focus is 22, because that’s where you stopped.
It feels like they got way too many vfx artists and are just trying to find them something to do.

just bc it could run doesnt mean you should
Are you sure you are not using the integrated GPU if your laptop has one, and instead using the 3070TI?
a 3070TI should absolutely run Overwatch even in the ~300 fps range, in whichever settings you want

what integrated graphics card can run the game at ultra settings at 1600p? Its surely his rtx 3070, its performance can vary based on the power drawn
its using the right gpu yea… im not sure. maybe its related to thermals, cpu usage, or something else?
It might be thermal throttling (when your laptop is really hot), or power limitation (when you’re playing while laptop isn’t plugged)
I guess you can check the temperature and gpu/cpu usage using MSI afterburner, this here is a tutorial on how to use it https://youtu.be/H23FSEybZsk
, normal temperatures can go up to 85C, anything more will cause thermal throtolling
this person a similar specs (except he uses a 1440p monitor), and he gets around 200 FPS ultra

try playing on a computer that isn’t a potato?
