Seems this whole past week it’s taking upwards of 5 minutes to find a match and once the game starts there’s always people leaving mid-game

-slow, inconsistent, flavour of the month balance
-no communication
-no updates to core game modes
-no updates to the rotting competitive scene
-charging money for the good skins while adding less cosmetic content to the basic game
-scamming offmeta players, letting the community ban them and forcing them to buy new copies of the game to bolster sales and account numbers
-forcing hidden profiles on the community to obscure statistics
just a few of my opinions idk anything tho

When did that start?
The BFV beta went live on the 6th September. Maybe it’s actually popular unlike what some are saying. I’ve been having fun playing it at least.

I am sure there are a lot of reasons, and it’s not a new problem. I’ve noticed longer que times and very few people in LFG for the last month or more. If you think about it though the summer was a disappointment and Season 12 started off with nothing new. No new maps are ready yet, no new hero’s and no new reworks or balance changes really.
Season 12 is just Season 11 in all ways that count. Add to that the Battlefield 5 beta was out recently I’m sure people were playing that as well. I can only imagine the next few months as the new CoD, Red Dead Redemption and Battlefield 5 come out OW will see a huge decline in players.

I’m sure a lot of people are playing the beta, but that doesn’t mean they are liking it. Most comments I’ve heard are lack luster at best and excuse away any problems with “It’s only a beta” Never mind that they didn’t bother to fix much of anything form the Battlefield One beta to live.
The delay might help but I have my doubts.

I guess I’ll just add my alternative conspiracy theory:
Balance changes and Hero releases have made the game increasingly difficult to enjoy casually, so those casual players only really play during events.
Most recent event was disappointing, and the one before that wasn’t incredible, and now there’s no event at all.

I mean, it isn’t absurd to believe that a bunch of Mercy players quite the game. This last nerf to Mercy was pretty horrible in the sense that, it made her less fun and has possibly thrown her into an underpowered state.

Monster Hunter World is still enjoyable.
Forsaken is out and I have to grind my light level for the upcoming raid - I look like garabge because of the random rolls but hey.
This game has gotten boring. Can’t get back because of how garbage QP is, so deathmatch is the only way to keep your mechanics up. S11 was annoying with GravDragon being a thing and your occasional boosted brigs. After the Brig video I expect ranked to be more boosted, and new faces in GM that I rather not see.

I haven’t noticed longer queue times, but I mostly play QP. However I have noticed a significant amount of leavers. Couldn’t begin to guess why that is.

The Forsaken expansion in Destiny 2 dropped this week, and it’s actually??? Really good??? Like, I’m having so much fun with it Totally ignoring the part where my favorite character died yay! SOB
I figured something is wrong when myself and my friends all notIced significantly longer Queue times for things like QP and comp the past few days. I went to go use LFG to find a QP group or a comp group and saw that there was ZERO for comp and only one for QP. And these were during usual prime hours.
This probably because (as others have mentioned) the lack of content. MEANINGFUL CONTENT not just skins. With Spider-Man, Destiny dlc, and other games coming out OW looks very unappealing.
