Why is nobody talking about the LEGO leak?

Like, i know we just had a PTR patch but before that we got to see the Lego sets and I haven’t seen a single thread about it.

(except the one I made that got no replies)

Im an adult and i dont need to waste money on a LEGO set. Had this been a thing like 10 years ago, i would’ve cared

Its cool I guess. Not much to it other than that. I wouldnt buy them though.

Has an adult gamer i love playing Lego video games. Has for toys are concerned. They are either too expensive or merchandise title like OW are not available here. Even if its it cost an arm or leg or both. So this leaks are waste of my time not if someone say Blizzcon leaks i would jump into.

There were threads yesterday, I thought they were cool and I’d want the D.Va set. I do wonder if they would create an Overwatch Lego animated short.

I’m 21 years old and i’ve been collecting Lego since I was 4.
I stopped perceiving them as toys after a while and started seeing them as collectables and building them a hobby similar to building and painting Warhammer kits (even as I type this i’m adding the finishing touches to a Star Wars U-Wing I bought myself as a birthday project).

Point is you don’t have to be a child to enjoy Lego and there are plenty of adult Lego fans out there.

More power to you, I didnt mean that someone cant collect LEGO sets into adulthood. I simply meant that i lost interest as a kid and they just dont have an appeal to me as a consumer. They are very overpriced and take up lots of room.

No one is saying this tho. OP asked why nobody is talking about it. These people replied as to why they aren’t. Same for me. I’m 35 years old, I love the lego games but I’m not buying a lego set. Nothing wrong with adults who do, it’s just why I specifically am not hyped or talking about it.

funny thing is i have emails from lego i was talking to them urging them to reach out to blizzard to make overwatch sets im pretty happy with the sets

Some people still enjoy lego - not everything is everyone elses taste.

I have the lego D.Va and the Tracer/Widow set with the payload, and they look pretty nice.

My only issue is that the cockpit of the mech is not good at holding D.Va in place.

And also the handheld guns all look kinda bad.

I am curious to what they look like but other than that? I really could care less. Some view them as something to collect which is fine, it’s a hobby, but full on playing with them isn’t for me c:

The genuinely sad thing is people who seem to feel the need to express their maturity by publicly throwing away the toys they cherished as a kid. Personally, I’m hanging onto every last scrap of LEGO I have. I love the stuff, and think you’d have to be crazy not to. :slight_smile:
